i would be missing their old SAO looks if they went and conquered SAO like that though...
Well, perhaps, but in Accel World, it's a bit different. The Seed gives birth to other worlds, such as GGO, which you can read about in the LN, or just wait until we get to see it in the anime.

Well, in the LN, there are some sidestories, and the entire Mother's Rosario arc, about adventures in the world of ALO after Aincrad has been installed into the sky and they adventure in those new forms.
It finally ended, thank goodness. I think it was ended nicely, although not brilliantly. ALO was definitely lacking tense and power compared to SAO, but as a whole series I think it's not really bad. The idea of still continuing life as a VR-MMORPG player is an interesting solution to the problem. And Asuna looked different but still pretty. <33
I don't think I want a second season right after. Hopefully they take time to do the animation (and plot presentation, mainly) properly so it will be even better. :)
The end! It's over!
I'm glad that at least the ending is proper. It's a great eps! (after ALO, this eps returns my excitement for this series)
I reaaaaally love Kirito and Asuna's scene... Somehow I can just forget there was ALO.. but then, that scene with Sugu.. :errr
I have a mixed feeling about second season.. I really want my memory of SAO to be just of SAO (just forget ALO), but second season will also introduce Alicization (can't we just skip GGO?)... :(
Right? I feel like cutting half of the eps...

Umm, people's opinions are different.. If I have to rate it from the least I like to the most I like: ALO-GGO-Alicization-SAO
I really really liked GGO. The story was nowhere near SAO-good, but the world, the concept of the game and everything! <3 And Sinon wasn't half bad. ...something like quarter bad, I guess.
Do you guys think there's even a chance that they'll animate the rest of the novels? (or I missed things and we've got a comfirmation?)

SAO OST :D
thanks to Zatono for finding it xD
It could go either way, Darj. I think that they'll animate the rest of the LN at some point. Surely they will as you can see how profitable and successful SAO and ALO were.
SAO is great. There is AWxSAO Off Line Meeting 3 on Feb. 17 in Japan. Who knows, you may hear some news about their future plans at the meeting.
I'm finally getting around to reading the light novel for Sword Art Online.
I rather enjoyed the anime series as well! I'm not sure if I'm the only one who felt this way but I often felt sometimes the series was rushed. Having not read the light novel prior to watching the series, I figured it was because they expected us to know what was going on in detail - kind of like when books are made into movies, at times.
