My favourite arc is probably Tenrou Island; lots of cool fights and Mashima managed to juggle 20+ good guys and still give them all a good showing. I also like the Fighting Festival Arc just because I thought the set up of Freed's runes making everyone fight was really fun, but I was a little disappointed Gray didn't get to do more. I'm really enjoying the current arc as well.
well i went for tower of heaven arc. we learned a lot about erza's past and how he joined fairy tail also if i'm not mistaken for the first time natsu has used dragon force in this arc and again for the first time a good guy (simon) had died but gotta say it current arc rocks too.
i choose the current arc because of the interaction between guilds, the possibility of learning about layla and lucy thus zeref and dragons, uranometria and the development of one of my fav characters lucy :D and also everyones skillz are being shown olde and new! :woo I also like how Ft has to climb back to fame, its like watching how fairy tail first started out in a more sad manner. It's a very emotional arc which i approve off :D
I also loved the tenrou island arc for similar reasons to what tame said, the tower of heaven arc because erza's past was done in an extremely superb way and the phantom lord arc because of gajeel vs natsu, lucy and the introduction of the 777 mystery for the dragons and layla.

I'm gonna wait for the current arc to be over before answering the poll. But right now Phantom arc is still my favorite with Natsu vs Gajeel and everyone in the guild fighting another guild.
I liked the Tenrou Island Arc(the entire thing) and I'm liking the Grand Magic Games Arc until now, but nothing beats the Tower of Heaven Arc for me personally.
After the current Arc ended, I will decide again, but it's looking really promising for now.
I don't know if I could ever choose. All arcs were wonderful and amazing. I loved it. I'm especially interested i the current arc since it will be revealing a lot of questions. I especially loved the harvest festival as well as Edolas because of edo fairy tail. It's a shame there was only a small screen time for them. Harvest festival was fun as well. The fight that I loved the most was the one between Gajeel and Natsu. It was perfect. The ending in the tenrou island was amazing. So far though, the current arc is just amazing and I just can't wait for what'll happen next.

but my top 4 arcs would have to be: Oracion Seis, Galuna Island, Phantom Lord, and Edolas
Grand Magic Games arc is without a doubt my number 1. Tenrou Island is 2nd and Fighting Festival 3rd.
all the arch are just too yummy to pick but so far this magic games arch only because i wanted too see all the keys of the zodiac but then again the oracion sei arch was good also and the phantom arch and the infighting arch with laxus but i also like the tengu island damn they are all good they have their special moments
so far fairy tale makes me smile always guessing what will happen next it has a sense of whats about to happen then you get fooled big time.
Generally love most of the arcs (except maybe the Edollas one :P ) but I think I will go with the current arc for being my fave even though it hasn't ended yet.
Always liked the "tournament" parts in most magas/animes and that is one of the best I have seen so far. Thing is that you really get hyped up by a way that makes you wanna stand up while reading and cheer for FT.
Even more counting backwards the days and wondering what might happen only gets you more pumped up.
In order:
Grand magic games: it has an amazing balance of epic battles and plot movement.
S-class: Same. Only problem is some fights were overhyped
Tower of Heaven: Slight bias. I really like Jellal.
Oracion Six: Don't know. I just like how this played out.
Eisenwald: Gray and Natsu still just crack me up in this arc.
Galuna: Nice story, but Lucy's fight was the only one I liked.
Phantom Lord: Meh.
Loke: Again, nice story, but absolutely no action.
Edolas: I just trudged through this one.
Fight Festival: Honestly, I almost quit here. The fights were good but the plot didn't interest me at all.
Daybreak: I didn't like the opponents.
Intro: To much needs to be established still.
Too bad the poll is limited to 1 option.

For me
1- Galuna Island Arc - Trying to destroy the moon was funny lol:teehee
2- Phantom Lord Arc - Gajeel was just awesome
3- Tower of Heaven Arc - Trinity Raven was just funny.
4- Fighting Festival Arc - Awesome nothing more
5- Oración Seis Arc - Interesting seeing other Guilds take part.
6- Edolas Arc
7- Tenrou Island Arc
