They are not the same but Krige is a member of the SR he said so himself. He was put in charge of the iacto arme but is still a member of the SR.

The first time I saw Renji getting shredded by Sebonzakura Kageyoshi I seriously thought he was a goner. With Byakuya I didn't get that feeling.

where did he state he belonged to the SR himself? I don't remember that,and also in this forum we discussed about this possibility,and ended up denying it :)

Its mainly to with the fact that he has a letter in his name kirge "j" opie, so i think we're all assuming he's a SR as the rest of them also have letters

Where was it stated that those who have letters don't have to be SR? So far, all the confirmed SR had letters, and Kirge seems powerful enough to be one.
I didn't end up denying it. Maybe you did, and some others, but opinions vary.
