I should have skipped the first ten minutes of the show. I didn't care about the beginning fights , they were annoying. Especially that guy from quatro puppies, his pathetic ability seem 10 times worse than it was in the manga. Ogra trying to singing about his wack guild that everyone likes.
The fight was okay, it should have been better IMO. Although, I thought it was funny seeing jellal dying of laughter and when Ultear finally stopped torturing him. He slowly walked away, I felt bad for him. Humiliating..

I too felt bad for Jellal, but I laughed so hard when he was Ko'ed by Ultear. XD
About this, have I a dirty mind or Ultear did more than a simple tickling to Meldy. :teehee
Anyway I really liked this episode and the pace was great as well as the music used.
I'm looking forward to watching the next episode; finally FT counterattack will start. :super

So I skipped watching the next time on bit earlier and had assumed we'd be seeing Bacchus and getting an extended end of first day episode. They're actually showing Chariot next week. That's going to make my day.

As much as I hated how Jura Vs Jellal fight ended in Manga. I really laughed hard when I saw it in Anime it was actually funny. Loved the fight, and damn I wanna see the end of that move from Jellal. I think he is stronger than Jura.

That side of Ultear we never seen before is entertaining I hope to see more from Jellal new guild.

Did anyone else hate the way Orga's Magic was animated? It looked so badass on manga and on the episode it looked like it was done with powerpoint

The only place I trusted where I could find the whole episode this week had a kind of grainy image, so I'd assumed it was just the uploader's fault. It looked bad even with a good quality video, huh?

I like this manga and anime. The anime has exceptional art and good animation, but the way most people's magic are animated is really FUCKING BAD... Orga magic looks like it was done by an amateur photoshop user... Natsu's magic compared to the manga is underwhelming and pretty bad, i never get the feeling that those are real flames. Zancrow's epic black flames of awesomeness in the manga, looked and felt liek it was just "aura" in the anime... Fairy tail anime has to step up it games in terms of animating magic attack

Thank you!! I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that the magic animation sometimes really sucks!!

Without even spending more than 5 mins, I re-created Orga's Magic using Powerpoint and placed it on top of your screen capture.

True, but this is the least of the problems. As the anime it self is not really near the awesomeness as Manga is. Even Jura magic was not that great except the Rock Mountain thing which was bad ass just like it was shown in Manga.

If you compare the Anime before and now. In terms of Graphic it's going down. I hope it get better we're about to see one of the best arcs ever.

The anime is always bad when compared to the manga. Not just animating magic, but the way they animate characters is absolutely disgusting. It's like they're not even trying. And especially Laxus and Sting, it's like WTH when they animate them.
It's like they're different beings :epicfacepalm

To be honest, a lot of the CG effects in Fairy Tail are pretty good, it's just that a few of them are implemented badly. But then there's also some really bad effects, like Zero's magic for instance.

It's not the only hint. He recognizes the type of magic Sheria uses later too. I'm 99% sure that Orga is in fact a lightning god slayer
