Fairy Tail Anime & Discussion

Was sort of just wading through all those swimsuits and maybe enjoying a few jokes here and there.
Then that NaLi moment.
Why? Why did they have to add ship tease like that? Now everywhere I go in the fandom there's going to be people getting all excited over filler material and all the bad fanfics that try to make everyone go to war over NaLi or NaLu are going to be twice as bad because zomg there's more fodder gaisssss. Ugh...

But if it weren't for fans I can't stand that might have been a good scene. Ever trying to compete with Erza was kind of funny, and I did like how they finally cleared the arena. The anime's still close to the manga, so I don't mind if they feel the need to pad (though I figured they'd do that by extending fights and junk) and I thought the Kagura v Yukino buidup was nice.

we will have more filler as you said, the anime is close to the manga...

If they want to add filler, they could have prolonged the challenges and the fights.

Of all the matches they could have added filler to, this was the worse. I skipped through it on fast-forward, and I actually like a bit of fan-service now and then.

The episode was bad, and they should feel bad.

From the preview of next episode it looks like they gonna extend the fight and for a sec saw Kagura been pushed back into a statue ? WTF ...Kagura pushed back by that trash SABERTOOH member ? :no

I love how they skipped the part where Jenny ripped off Mira's top when there was already that much fanservice.

Also I found it hilarious at all the ship tease and how Loke interrupted Lisanna from making her point by slamming Lucy into Natsu. Geez talk about riling up the fanbase. Fanfic world is going to have a field day with this episode. Oh man so many emo Lucy fics coming up because Lisanna talked to Natsu lol.

Yukino vs Kagura is going to be one hell of a battle.

I could have done without Obaba-san though. :-_- :gwah :no

IIRC that doesn't happen till ch 297.

Even though I like fanservice this was beyond awful.
The best part was the music while Kagura and Yukino entered the stadium.

Levy's disappointment at Gazille's lack of interest was funny, and Jet and Droy's reactions to being passed over.

Well a bit of Fanservice doesn't hurt every now and then. :derp
But seriously, they've explored all the kinds of fetish. LOL
Looking forward to seeing the next fight, because I liked it in the manga.
Anyway guys it is inevitable to have filler parts considering the difference between the manga and the anime.

Well, I found all of those fanservice filler rather funny!
Kinda ridiculous, but that's part of what maikes Fairy Tail great!

I would agree though, that they should have cut it a bit so that they could squeeze Kagura vs Yukino in the episode, but it seems we will have a full episode about that next week.

Check out the Anime/Manga comparison. The Angle and the "I'm going to eat your kids" face. The color of the flames would have been better if it was blue, since it would indicate that it was really crazy hot! The one on the right may have been fan-colored but it was exactly how I pictured it. The anime adaptation was boring and made it less badass.

Our sun is white, so should the fire be white too? The color could indicate a special element, but it's not like they really care.^^

Episode had lot's of filler, the budged seemed to be at a low point in some scenes. -_-

And wtf have they done to my sweet Asuka, so awkward and sweet at the same time.

The form looks the same to me, and I don't see any fire color in that image so I don't know what else you might be complaining about. I think if you're going to complain about it being wrong, a bigger issue was the less menacing expression anyway.
