Re: Do you think Luffy would one day be the strongest in one piece?
ofc luffy will be the strongest in the end
this thread is pointless somehow
Re: Do you think Luffy would one day be the strongest in one piece?
well i think "strongest" is a very vague description.depends on the perspective of ppl. for example any1 who knows about the enies lobby incident thinks he is immensely powerful already which is not true since most of the claims are planted. therefore he will not be the strongest in terms of power but from the points of view of the rest of the world.
Re: Do you think Luffy would one day be the strongest in one piece?
Depends...
The strongest alive, yes.
Because people like Whitebeard and Shanks will be dead by the end of the manga.
But, I doubt that he will ever be stronger than those two.
Especially Whitebeard.
But, if it follows the usual path of the shonen, he will be the strongest living pirate for sure.
Re: Do you think Luffy would one day be the strongest in one piece?
why doubt? im sure that luffy wil have few more powerups maybe somwhere on the way he will learn roukoushuki wich would set well in his current set of skills. its quite possible that he will get another devilfruit power or maybe oda wll invent some uses for his coc haki, even some realy pointless skill that luffy will use in creative way...
im really interested to know what you guys think what would give luffy needed powerup that would compliment his current set of abillities?

Did not know that this was a fact already^^
You have to think about here what strongest really means. Will Luffy have the most destructive power at the end of the series? Probably not, guys like BB or the Admirals (even Enel) have fruits that grant them incredible destructive power (just look at Punk Hazard). Is Luffy ever going to be a tank like Whitebeard? Also a no, although Luffy really does not need to be. I think though that at the end Luffy will have 1.) a Haoushoku that surpasses Rayleigh´s, Shanks or Whitebeard´s in their respective prime and 2.) CoA that surpasses the Admirals.
Re: Do you think Luffy would one day be the strongest in one piece?
Luffy actually could become incredibly physically strong. Come to think of it, he doesn't spam special abilities, but rather uses physical strength (augmented by haki and DF, ofc), punches, kicks etc.
But, I have to stick to the opinion that Luffy's not interested in becoming the strongest, but just being able to do whatever the hell he wants and able to beat anyone who tries to hurt him or his nakama. (Plus finding OP first.) He doesn't care if there's someone stronger, as long as that person isn't a real threat to him.
Re: Do you think Luffy would one day be the strongest in one piece?
I have no doubt that the Strawhats would one day become the strongest crew in the world. But Luffy being the strongest in terms of physical strength and power, I doubt it. He doesn't have to be stronger than the opponent to win his fight. He had proven that a couple of times already.
Re: Do you think Luffy would one day be the strongest in one piece?
Luffy will become one of the strongest pirate, even if he isn't the strongest or the best fighter. I don't think he was stronger than Lucci, but his desire to protect his nakama gave him the extra strength required to beat him. Some pirates may be stronger than Luffy at or near the end, but he'll still beat them because of his willpower and need to protect the ones he loves.
