Who or what killed Rin?

I wonder if Yamato will be the third person in their group, I would like to see him younger. Unless my memory is a complete failure... seeing Yamato there could tie into Orochimaru learning about Zetsu and "Their" plan. IIRC he was the one who created Yamato? In any case I'm hoping Orochimaru had something to do with her death....

My guess is that Kakashi had to choose between completing the mission and saving his comrades again in the forthcoming battle against the Hidden Mist shinobis.

And at this point I doubt Madara would've already put Mizukage under his control. He will need Obito to do that for him in the future.

Anyway we will know the truth in a few days. By the way how come 'Hidden Mist Shinobis' is not an option in the poll above? It's certainly better than Random Ninjas.

Zabuza wanted to kill Yagura, so it is possible that he is involved.

This Kakashi is OBVIOUSLY a zetsu clone.

It can't be kakashi cause :

If he did it by is own will (for good or bad reasons) et would remember killing Rin and crossing eyes with Obito.Thus he don't.
If he he was under genjustsu he wouldnt cry.
If he was under genjutsu and released just before giving the killing blow he would remember crossing eyes with obito.


That "i can impersonate everyone" zetsu ability is the biggest plot cheat ever (was already lame with kisame)

But there are some points:

- Obito was able to see through his left eye (of course, his left part is also Zetsu-like...);
- It looks like as if Kakashi was using Chidori;
- What about the crying?
- We don't know from which angle Obito is seeing Kakashi and Rin... besides Rin should be blocking Kakashi's view, judging from Obito's vision.

From the development in recent chapter 604, there could be a few reasons to explain the last panel(Note: These are all just speculations.)

1) Rin and Kakashi both were Zetsu clones, set up by Madara to twist Obito.

2) Kakashi and Rin were fighting Zetsu clones who took the appearance of Rin and Kakashi killed Riin by accident mistaking her for one of the clones. Since Zetsu can perfectly copy chakra and appearance, Kakashi's sharingan wouldn't be of help in that case. Though real Rin could have been easy to find out as they can't copy memories and communication between Kakashi and Rin would be the key to fight them off.

3) The Kakashi who killed Rin was a Zetsu clone sent out by Madara to turn Obito to his side and follow in his footsteps etc. Real Kakashi could have been far off and by the time he got there the Clone and Obito might have already gone from the scene.

4) The Rin Kakashi killed was a Zetsu clone and the real Rin could have already been dead or gravely injured or not even there, but Madara wanted Obito to witness Rin's death by his best friend creating a perfect opportunity for him to twist Obito the way he wanted to as after witnessing the death of his love by his best friend Obito would have lost faith in friendship and this world hence rather then going back to the village he went back to Madara having no where else to go after what happened seeking answers/false sense reality.

Other than these, I can't think of any other possible reason for Kakashi to kill Rin unless it was Body control/Mind Transfer/Puppet/Kotoamatsukami/Any other Genjutsu based technique.
