His design was drawn by Togashi?
It has been said many times that Hisoka killed and replaced the original No.4

This has not been confirmed, it looks Togashi-ish to me, but not 100% sure really. What do you guys think?
I don't really remember, but Hisoka said to kurapika, in manga and both animes, that he replaced him, nothing about killing him. And if this guy is the main antagonist, I'm guessing he's not dead :P
I think he needs a cracker.
Other than that, he looks pretty awesome.
he feels a bit too serious to be Togashi. Not that Togashi can't be serious. But there always seems to be a sense of irony with Togashi.
It just seems like a dreary character. Not at all Phantom Troupe like. But then maybe that's why he was replaced. He really needs a cracker.
Not that it is a bad design or anything like that. It just feels fillerish. But regardless hopefully it's a good movie.
I asked that question because I think that it wasn't a Togashi's design. Serioulsy. It's like a design fusion of Yu-Gi-Oh + Death Note + Bleach.
And answering the question about a Hisoka's fight against number 4: It wasn't confirmed directly in Manga with right words. But, if you read again, perhaps you can assume that Hisoka fought the number 4 of Ryodan. Just assume.
I've re-read Hisoka's conversation with Kurapika, and nowhere does it mention Hisoka fighting Omokage. Hisoka just says he replaced the former number 4.
the number 4 does not seem c'entrare with the style of Togashi ... honestly.
for me it doesnt looks like togashis work somehow
i belive this is togashi's work his body reminds me of kaito's ..besides i don't think togashi will allow someone draw characters for his own story
He looks like made by CLAMP, honestly. But I couldn't care less...I'm always more interested on his Nen Technique :P
His clothes kind of make me doubt it's Togashi's design more than his actual face or hair or demeanor. Togashi just isn't the type to make his characters' attire too overly flowy and long and "obviously too heavy to battle with but doesn't take it off because it makes them look awesome"-esque. Which is why we have androgynous characters like Kurapika duking it out in a white shirt and pants most of the time.
