I would go with Fisher Tiger. Burges seems to be among the weakest members of BB crew before timeskip, while Fisher Tiger seemd to be damn strong both in physical capabilities and especially in Fishman Karate. So I would easily choose him over Burges.
Fisher Tiger is one of those individuals with legend status, but we've seen very little from. But based on what we do know of Fisher Tiger, and have seen from him, he wins this fight against Burgess. We've seen even less from Burgess, and there's nothing to suggest that he would be able to take on someone of Fisher Tiger's level.
Tiger, don't know why but him.
I went with Tiger on this one.
Later on, I'm sure we'll see Burgess being a super-strong character. But back when Blackbeard and Ace fought, we saw Burgess wasn't anywhere close to taking on Logia, so he didn't have haki then. Whereas, I think Tiger, having been Jinbei's captain, knows Fishman Karate, which lets you face Logia users. This fight has nothing to do with that, but the point is I think Tiger has a higher fighting ability.
But we haven't seen much at all from either, so who knows! :derp
Fisher Tiger would destroy pre-timeskip Burgess. I wish Tiger lived a bit longer so we could see his true potential. 230 Million in one campaign is quite the feat.
Um isn't Fisher Tiger a fake? He was actually a lot weaker than Jinbei, regardless of his legendary status... which was a fraud anyway. Burgess didn't show much, other than he was at least as strong as a fishman. Tiger didn't show any real ability and was owned by marines and pistols. I think Burgess would take this one, because Tiger seemed little more than average and the rest of his crew were pathetic too.
Fisher Tiger wasn't a fake. When he was alive he was the strongest Fishman. But when he died Jinbei surpassed him. Still, it doesn't mean that he was weak, because even when he was wekaer than current Jinbei he was still quite strong compared to most of the pirates and Marines. I would actually rate him over pre-timeskip Luffy.
He was actually taken down by numbers and seems that it was also barely, but he died in the end due to his pride for the most part...
P.S. no matter what he would have stomped pre-timeskip Burges badly...
