In terms of defense Nikyu Nikyu no Mi would kick certain ass.
Lightnening being hotter than fire or even magma is tdebatable when it comes to burning as it depends on a lot of things, anyways i get the point, for the One Piece world it does make sense.
Ope Ope no mi wouldnt work on Logias, Law couldnt cut smoker into pieces like he did with kinemon.
I think Logias have their natural oposites which limit their abilities. THe strongest would be a special zoan or paramecia type fruit, Marcos phoenix fits in. Healing, burning as well as high speed.
i guess everything depends to the user but i think there are a few devil fruit that could be the strongest..
If canceling is what your asking, Yami no Mi. If it's versality, Goro no Mi. And if it's broken, Doku no Mi.

It's funny how nobody mentionated the Yomi-Yomi fruit (Brook's fruit), how can you kill an already dead guy? Especially since he is not in his body but in ghost form, so basically you couldn't touch him. Until it's confirmed, not even haki can hit a soul.

Thing is with Yomi Yomi it might be awesome because you can't kill him, but you can defeat Yomi Yomi Fruit in battle with many fruits.
He has to go to a new body each time, meaning he will have to train that body to be up to standards of his strength.
He can't even get back the skin on his body haha.
Yomi Yomi is good but not on the level that we have mentioned.
Yomi Yomi No Mi enables the user to come back to life " once " (ofc there's a condition : One must not die due to drowning in sea water, and the body must be there), once they're " killed " again, there's no coming back. As to how kill Brook, it's easy, you should damage the bones, break them apartQuote:

Strength of a fruit depends heavily on environment and circumstances as well as the user itself. Marcos fruit looked neat, but so does Kizarus. Id think Kizarus fruit is actually one of the stronger fruits out there since it does not seem to come with too much of a weak spot. Then again, Sengokus fruit seemed pretty strong, too.
Id go with the pika pika no mi though, but as I tried to say, there is no strongest fruit that comes on top of every other fruit.
Though not the strongest by a large margin but i think Buggys DF has a lot of potential. Really wish we saw him actually fight and go all out.

Although I can't imagine Buggy fighting so skillfully, the video gives a nice idea what someone with complete mastery of the fruit and enough fighting power could be capable of.

Also, would this ability work on logias? I don't see why it wouldn't, but even if it did it wouldn't be very useful without haki or exploiting the logia's weakness. So it depends on the user of this fruit, I guess.
