cant wait for 176. shira is the man. also on the manji note, you guys gotta realize that he was one bad ass kenshi BEFORE he had the worms. he was the 100 man killer, trained 100 samurai men none the less killer in the days when he was still a mere mortal. his skillz got this shitty cause the need for them wasnt as big as before in his life (when he could have died from 1 stab or cut). but with things happening like they are happening right now i wouldnt be surprised if manji started kicking ass again. since his immortality hes got chopped up by broads and all. i think the time to take it up the rectum is over for manji. just look at the last chapter, he looks more serious than hes ever looked so far in the manga.
I remember someone saying that BOtI was finished in Japan, but anyone see page 31 from 176? It says something in Japanese and then there's "2 month 23 day" so that's the 23rd of this month and it's today... If it is finished I say this is too much of a coincidence. What mangabook is BOtI published in?
Chapter 177 is out
It is published in Afternoon.
This chapter is quite...bloody. I wonder how Manji will end this fight.
Why is there nobody to translate it?
I guess there's no chapter out yet?
From what I've seen is that the chapters come inconsistenly. Sometimes they come once a week an sometimes once a month.
as the revue Afternoon is a mensual, we can hope to have a new scan next week.
Can't wait to know how Manji is going to finish Shira, or how shira will be beaten and by who?
New chapter available.
I know everyone's been asking this...but why isn't BOTi not being updated like the rest of the popular manga out here? I've looked at all the raws, but it would be so great if it was translated. It's such an injustice to such a great story.
Well, the answer is very simple. It's because boti cannot compare with such a super-mega-awesome manga like naruto. Therefore narutards enjoy over 10 scanlations of the same chapter and blade fans get none.
I'm sure BotI has a lot of fans. There are a lot of other less known mangas that are being scanlated.
Yes, but BotI is an old manga now (start in 1994!) and it appears only once a month. Even Tenjo Tenge has less release than other less well known manga and it's a real good/famous one! (look, Psyren a quite new one is scanlated regurlarly). I suppose that scanlator/translator work on what they like.
There's also the matter that BotI (similar to Vagabond, 3x3 Eyes or Bastard) is licensed since a long time and regularly published in English for many years already. While the panels are rearranged in this version, Darkhorse still does a very good job on the translation and general release quality.
So, theoretically, there's no need for a scanlation and since many translators and scanlators interested in mature seinen series are a little older as well and busy with life, they don't like to invest their limited time in something that is officially supported well enough. Most Naruto&Co speedscanners are teenies with way too much free time, IMHO >.>
Why is there no need to have scanlation? We are lucky to have scans and it would be greater to have also a translation of it (I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't speak/read Japanese).
Without it, we need to wait 3 to 4 month to be able to buy the book. And according the new which appear right now in France (Tome 23) and there is a HUGE gap between Tome 23 and the current actions!
So please someone Translate it. It is just once a month.
I'm with you on this one. Seriously the country I live in sucks big time with stuff like this... Actually it sucks in everything, but my point is that getting scanlations is the only way to enjoy this series for me. Vagabond might be similar and it does tell the tale of Musashi, but BoTI is in a class of its own, it's unique.
Chapter 179 is out now! :3
Yessssssssssssssssss, finally out and shira too!
Now that the big bad boy of the story is over, I wonder what will happen next.
