re-watched the anime version,in the anime,hecadoth says spellmasters are contractors not on equal terms with the demon and they are in control

just so we be fair and out of respect,here is the proof that zen is a contractor

i think its actually pretty simple,a spellmaster is a non necessarily contractor who is specialized in emblems and other various magic(like zen closing the portal before hilda attacked him)

filler filled cannon episodes are still better that filler arcs,thats all i have to say
