What time frame are we looking at for this? I'd love to play but I don't know if I have the time right now
January 31, 2013 08:59 PM
I would say less of an aura appearance-wise and more of a transformation. They give similar boosts and effects though.
January 13, 2013 05:21 PM
They were actually stalling as long as possible because Momo needed more time to get Echizen's memory back. They could have just Synchro'd from the start- the score would probably end up 6-1/6-2...
January 03, 2013 10:57 PM
Where is it stated that Byoudouin is a bad guy???
January 02, 2013 03:41 PM
I think he's referring to your statement about playing the sport just to defeat one person.
December 22, 2012 01:48 PM
YAY!!! Shiraishi :hip
Also, the Shin OVA 2 is out subbed... 2SE doesnt want the links out in public, search on Tumblr and you'll find it :)

Yukimura is not shown... but I would assume he was one of the members. Pretty sure there were more than 5 though.
December 06, 2012 06:45 PM
So I think it's unanimous that we move Kintarou into the Top Tier... next month's reveal should give us enough information to rank him in the Top. Unless someone wants to argue that he can beat...

In Prince of Tennis, everyone brings their racket to the restroom.
November 24, 2012 11:44 AM
Pretty sure that Akutsu rescued Akaya from bullies once... I can't think of a manga or anime reference though.
November 23, 2012 09:20 AM
Do we have any clue on what Byoudouin's aura thing is? Image is where he attacked Tokugawa and Echizen.

Also, rather similar to this......
November 06, 2012 10:14 AM
Marui and Kite are only good together. They cover perfectly for each other; without the other, they really haven't improved too much.
November 04, 2012 10:28 PM
So did Marui get the #8 Badge?
November 04, 2012 04:39 PM
It seems that Kite took the execution as "atonement" for attacking Marui earlier in the match.
November 03, 2012 05:05 PM
If the animators go based on the Pair Puris, then (Don't click if you don't want to be spoiled)
Based on Pair Puri 4, Ootori fought against a player from 6th court and narrowly lost.
November 03, 2012 10:00 AM
Kaoz/Sai/Whoever the translator people are- what was said about the net strings during the Duke match?
November 02, 2012 09:57 PM
Why should FuRinKaZan be able to return DH?
October 30, 2012 07:31 PM
... Atobe has already played. Fuji and Sanada, I doubt it. Sanada had the whole drink stealing thing with Tanegashima, so that's the most likely matchup for him. Fuji has had no hint of playing a Top...
October 28, 2012 11:16 PM
I feel like while Technique beats Power, there is a certain point where no matter how much Technique you have, Power will beat you. Probably why Konomi only has Power players play other Power players.
October 27, 2012 06:56 PM
Yes. The ball came back to Tezuka, it was above and behind him
http://read.mangashare.com/Prince-of-Tennis/chapter-360/page012.html...
October 27, 2012 01:02 PM
Well, Yukimura returned the Cool Drive easily from the base line. (Was this like Itsuki's Sinker shot against Fuji's Tsubame Gaeshi?) Assuming Tezuka was at the baseline, he would also be able to...
October 26, 2012 10:27 PM
Every single smash scene is the same as well; and the winning point ball looks like it has a 3 foot diameter.

Just adding on to what Letal and Air was saying, Chapter 89 has been translated:

(Does this mean Marui underwent martial arts...
October 22, 2012 03:12 PM
Also not to burst OP's bubble, but this OVA has been out for forever and then some. They've even released the third one (saying something when you look at this anime's release schedule :teehee

These are the the explanations we have for Hoshi Hanabi....
October 15, 2012 06:40 PM
Fuji, we'll just wait for the 5th Counter Upgrade that makes it impossible for the ball to pass the net :D
October 15, 2012 06:38 PM
Does that mean he got Yips after the disease? If so, the winner of the assumed match between him and Tezuka would be Tezuka... interesting.
October 15, 2012 01:45 PM
So hyped for Fuji's match lol... his and Golden Pair were my favorite in PoT. I don't understand why Marui and Kite are playing at all... they shouldn't be in the plot at all for such an important...
October 14, 2012 09:26 PM
Awwww fine.. Why would you bother saying that then? Ryoma, Tezuka, and Niou are the only three anyways.
Oh please Konomi, give Shiraishi Hyakuren... he's gonna be forgotten soon anyways ;(
October 14, 2012 07:37 PM
Errr... Tezuka Kunimitsu anyone?
Tarundoru! xD

October 13, 2012 02:53 PM
I feel like the very concept of Rin goes against Sanada's play style. Sure it's part of the FuuRinKaInZanRai but it doesn't require him to use his power. It's a technique-based drop shot and isn't...
October 13, 2012 10:16 AM
IIRC, if Hirakoba had just used Giant Habu against Kawamura the next serve, they would have won...
October 12, 2012 01:42 PM
All of this losing makes you better talk just makes me even more excited for Fuji's match :D (Any year now...)
October 10, 2012 02:29 PM
Konomi was sort of forced to switch them around. He makes it 2 Losses 2 Wins to build up suspense to the Singles 1 match. Fuji wasn't allowed to lose again because his Semi match against Shiraishi...
October 09, 2012 09:17 PM
Fuji matches are always fun to watch... I'd like to see Yukimura losing a point to Hoshi Hanabi and seeing his eyes widen with the "shock" pose... before Fuji gets Yipped.
October 09, 2012 06:21 PM
Awwwwwwwwwww man... Fuji's out too? Urghhhhhhh
October 09, 2012 02:11 PM
It's a pity... unless we can get some good Synchro/extreme teamwork formations, Doubles has essentially turned into Singles.
Another question: What's so great about Saiki Kanpatsu no Kiwami? Maybe...
October 07, 2012 02:04 PM
That's what I'm saying. You guys all say Krauser is weak or something... he slams a player into the air and indents him into a fence. He has a 5 in power. TEZUKA has a 5 in Technique.
October 07, 2012 10:21 AM
As I said earlier, I think the moveable Hyakuren aura that we saw against Yukimura will be effective against Oni. No other Muga door will work other than that one.
Edit: The Saigaku plot power has...
October 06, 2012 04:57 PM
Wait, all doors of Muga are not allowed? I thought it was just Ten'imuhou no Kiwami. A controlled Hyaku Ren Jitoku no Kiwami is very deadly, as we saw VS Yukimura (before Echizen got Yipped)
I...
October 06, 2012 04:47 PM
Shukuchihou alone seals the game. Sorry Ibu... has he seriously not gotten any new techniques since he played Ryoma?
October 06, 2012 04:45 PM
LOL you're really going to compare anyone with Ochi in terms of height?
October 06, 2012 04:00 PM
What I mean is, there's no doubt he is up to that level but I'd like to see his full abilities shown once. The Stamina stat in particular makes me wonder where his "true self" is. I guess it's Fuji...
October 06, 2012 03:53 PM
I think a new tier should be created for Yukimura and Sanada. I don't think Oni and Irie can be tiered yet, but Yukimura and Sanada are clearly above Niou, Tooyama, Akutsu, Atobe, Shiraishi, Fuji,...
October 06, 2012 03:28 PM
Oh yay... like we need more separation of Sanada from the others :D
So Ochi Mouri are 1st String Doubles simply due to sheer power. I thought they were holding back for whatever odd reason,...
October 06, 2012 02:20 PM
Sorry if this has been discussed before, but why didn't Ochi and Mouri Synchro?
Also, is this indication that Sanada has controlled Black Aura?...
October 06, 2012 11:11 AM
http://translations.shamannet.com/?p=296
Almost positive we've already gone through this
October 03, 2012 01:50 PM
The assumption being that Kikumaru will get the badge.
October 02, 2012 06:34 PM
Hmmm that makes sense. I know Taira/Momo would win but I'm just trying to give Yagyuu/Krauser a chance. From what I remember, Southern Cross only took 3 games because Hopping Ball requires a cord...
