Most of the NPOT matches are like if you blink at the wrong time it's already over 6-0. As ridiculous as the match is, it's good to not see 20 points in a row in both directions.

Byodouin probably met Luffy while he's sailing around the 7 oceans.
February 28, 2014 08:26 PM
With the whole bit about how you got to risk your life to beat Byodouin, being abducted by a bunch of skeleton pirates doesn't really sound too far fetched.
February 28, 2014 06:15 PM
I think next month Byodouin will say his ship has sailed past black holes before.
February 28, 2014 06:04 PM
Of course the pirate stuff is supposed to be some kind of metaphor, but I'm not sure what the heck is going on real life for you to see a skeletal pirate behind you and then stab you in the back (at...

Keep in mind L and Light are both very good at tennis.
February 28, 2014 04:18 PM
I'm not sure if you can explain it with just aura and stuff when there's a picture of the pirate appearing behind Tokugawa and stabbing him.
February 28, 2014 03:18 PM
Edit: Baidu doesn't seem to do links outside so I guess have to wait until someone uploaded the picture elsewhere.

He hits the ball into another dimension and I guess this makes it impossible for the other guy to return it, or something.
I'd like to see Tanegashima neutralize that.

Meryem took a Rose at point blank range, and he doesn't seem like he's ready for it (he certainly was surprised by it) and he didn't die immediately from the impact. There's no way any attack...

In the Ant arc we can pretty much see the Hunters greatly overestimated their ability to inflict any meaningful damage to the Ants. It's not that the Ants are immune to physical damage, but as you...

Goku was blasting himself in his spaceship too.
I'd not be surprised at all if people started training like that in NPOT.

It depends on what you do with the light.
If you need to illuminate an area that's easy. If you want to shoot laser beams at people, that's probably impossible.
February 15, 2014 09:39 PM
I bet Byodouin is wandering why all these losers wimp out from minor injuries when he put his life on the line and took a giant ball from Oni in the head to become stronger. It's probably like how...
February 09, 2014 02:43 AM
I wouldn't worry too much about the direction of the ball bounce. It's sort of like how in most manga if you work out the position of the players none of them should ever be able to reach where they...

I think it'd be funny if we take some quotes from Yukimura and Tezuka about how tennis isn't a weapon of destruction and that balls aren't supposed to split into extra ones and put them next to some...

I'd say right now I wouldn't be surprised if the glowing shot capable guys actually killed someone in tennis. The other guys, even guys who like to injure people like Kirihara or Tohno, can send you...
February 02, 2014 06:38 PM
I think you'll see like tennis divided into several mini divisions, similar to how power players never play non power players because it wouldn't make very much sense (either power is useless or...

They're probably like "LOL these guys can't even smash walls, back in my country everyone can smash walls", without realizing they're not that good either.
February 01, 2014 08:54 PM
I saw this guy post elsewhere first saying 'what does Tokugawa need to put his life on the line for a game of tennis?' and then later said he took that back after seeing Byodouin's full strength, as...

Don't think it's very different from the whole samurai thing Ryoma's been doing in POT.
February 01, 2014 03:07 PM
There's no explanation given to Oni's statement that he 'may have' made Byodouin stronger (which, in manga speak, is the same as he did).
Oni said he was training Tokugawa to be the next #1. The...

I'd say it's equivalent of what Oni could've achieved if he had the motivation to continue improving himself (which he did not, for whatever reason).
February 01, 2014 03:55 AM
I think Kai should do a glowing shot from Viking Horn. That'd be awesome.
February 01, 2014 03:28 AM
I'm guessing Byodouin's powerup is going to be related to pirates (note that he's always talking about sailing and ocean metaphors). So that means Kai is going to be the next Byodouin!

Says Tokugawa is now on the path to become Asura. In the first set tiebreaker, it basically become a reverse of the Byodouin versus Oni...

I notice there's this theme of 'this guy is as strong (or stronger) than Oni' when they want to hype up another character. But 'better than Oni' is actually not saying much because he's one of the...
January 03, 2014 03:26 PM
I think the upper tier characters in NPOT are so unfathomable strong that they probably end up hurting people even if they're not trying. The whole Genius 10 was talking about 'only using 60% power'...

The whole 'enjoy tennis' reminds me of when Vegeta turned into Super Saiyan, he says he is pure... pure evil! Of course these guys enjoy tennis, as long as it's the other guy that's dying.
