If characters could somehow play themselves at the end of POT what do you think the scores would be? Also are there any relatively minor characters that you think could challenge top tier players at...

Natsu x Erza
Gray x Juvia
Lucy x Loki
NaLu seems kind of, well, too predictable and kind of forced to me
February 16, 2012 12:20 AM
I totally thought this too actually after reading this chapter but it seems kind-of strange that law should be on punk hazard. If the Mugiwaras are going to face of with a supernova I would've...
February 13, 2012 09:08 PM
I assume yonkou to be worth one billion minimum, because how much did the government pay for marineford? Presumably their thousands of marines get paid, add that to the costs of pacifistas, the seige...
February 13, 2012 02:35 AM
I don't really believe that synchro ends the discussion with the mutsu's and ochi-mouri because primarily there must be a reason for the rank disparity, and synchro certainly aids a doubles team...
February 13, 2012 02:20 AM
I'm fully aware of krauser's flaws as a player, and we may have seen his last match in the series, but I guess I'm thinking pre-shin where he redefined(briefly) what a psycho could be and dreaming of...
February 12, 2012 03:29 PM
If krauser goes into devil mode the world will never be the same. But as far as states it looks like byoudouin can do something at least
February 06, 2012 11:13 PM
Niou drastically improved didn't he? Wonder if it's gonna be enough though. I can't really see him staying as tezuka the whole match, as he's never illusioned a whole match before, I can see him...
February 06, 2012 10:45 PM
I can totally see this happening, but saiki not working in dubs has always bugged me because I view doubles as being more predictable than singles, but then again I don't live in POT world.
January 22, 2012 10:38 PM
I also think saiki is as fallable is some ways as data tennis, as saiki has never been used from the beginning of the match. EG, just because you use saiki, it doesn't mean much if there are...
January 21, 2012 02:10 AM
In a WW2 class at my school we had to speculate how it would've gone differently if a significant part of the war had gone another way. I thought it would be fun to do this for Marineford.
January 21, 2012 12:28 AM
I really agree, if the mountain training was really superior I feel that everyone would be sent there from the beginning. Rather, I think you get sent to the mountain if you have potential that you...
January 21, 2012 12:21 AM
How about the absolute techniques that you started a thread for? If Saeki came up against them, do you think that it would just come to the conclusion that they couldn't win the point? I think that...
January 19, 2012 11:53 PM
Any word on rapid evolution being able to win earlier than the prediction?
January 18, 2012 12:23 AM
You could accidentally hit a cord ball to win. For reliable methods as saeki is based on calculation, I think that you would just have to exceed their knowledge of your ability. Rapidly evolving...
January 08, 2012 11:39 PM
I dunno how big the Ryoma Akaya rivalry ever was, Akaya got kinda overhyped by stomping Tachibana, but it seems that konomi almost changed his mind and decided to get rid of the final akaya showdown...

People who played for a team in years past. Rikkai brought theirs back in a chapter fo the manga to show how beastly their team is by wrecking all their old players
November 22, 2011 04:18 PM

November 22, 2011 01:08 AM
Sorry, it's Bunta/Jackal. Didn't mean to cause confusion
November 21, 2011 04:08 PM
Yours are really great, but I'd like to add some
Yanagi/Niou vs Yanagi/Akaya- I want to see how Yanagi/Akaya respond to Niou's trolling and the laser
Sanada/Yukimura vs Eiji/Oishi- On paper, Golden...
November 21, 2011 03:38 PM
While it is all speculation, as their regular spots are decided by their rankings tourneys, I can't see even half-assed fuji losing to faceless sempai. Taka noted in his flashbacks that the other...
November 20, 2011 01:32 PM
Ha ha, never said that he actually would be ABLE to stomp Sanada, but it would be a good grudge match. I hope that my theoretical OB would be able to deal with Black Aura but Sanada would have to...
November 20, 2011 02:25 AM
I like the idea of a Rikkaidai OB who graduated the year before Yuki and Sanada joined. He would be godly, but because the rest of his team wasn't high leveled enough they never won nationals. Now...
November 04, 2011 06:34 PM
Which PoT players do you think are at least patially based on real life tennis players? And why?
Yukimura=Federer and Bjorn Borg, Federer because he can take moves or techniques that you...
November 02, 2011 12:37 AM
If anyone has read Whistle, the tezuka situation is similar. They take a vastly superior player(Shige or Tezuka) and put them on a rival team to make for a good final showdown. Hope that the line up...
October 30, 2011 01:40 PM
I can agree with what you said on the kirihara shiraishi pair, but has he not devalued the two wings of kyuushu by having them lose to washio and shun? They got wrecked by the mutsu twins. And what...
October 29, 2011 08:52 PM
The problem with this series is that he made the court 3 people too good relative to his own players, and then used them to hype up the 1st stringers. In doing this he devalued all his characters,...
October 28, 2011 07:14 PM
What do you think of the remaining first stringers? Will they be more fodder like the others? Will we get full matches for once?
My thoughts, Byoudouin, shuu and the guy who is probably ryoga will...
October 26, 2011 09:38 PM
jirou vs bunta
Dunno if jirou has any kind of chance but if he has improved it could be a great match. Really want jirou to whip out a myougi of his own and pressure bunta with it
Fuji vs kabaji...
October 26, 2011 04:08 PM
Whatever, Renji will come back. He is better than at least two of the people who made the team. Besides , the last time people lost , they came back later much stronger than before
October 23, 2011 11:28 PM
I can agree with what you said about Akaya's power, now that I think about it,but assuming the second data set of Akaya's is for devil mode, should his power be lower than krauser's? It is by half a...
October 23, 2011 12:10 PM
Even accounting for the fact that he may not have been playing his heart out in that tiebreaker, that match lasted close to 423 points by my addition(may be off by a few, but I think that it is...
October 22, 2011 08:03 PM
I'd love it if Fuji's stat sheet has all ?'s on it "We can't collect data on him ether!"
Also I don't think mental really has anything to do with intelligence, it has more to do with how your head...
October 22, 2011 03:16 PM
Irie/Atobe Seriously, how many doubles teams could deal with double insight, Irie's trolling or even their overall ability? Make it an endurance battle and it's over
October 18, 2011 01:47 AM
maybe, but isn't it just like PoHW without an aura? I like the idea for the follow through though. And i agree that fuji needs a counter to powerful shots. I thought of a move where fuji hits it in a...
October 15, 2011 03:28 PM
On this note, what do you all think the lineup against the final team will be? It's really early and we don't even know the format but what do you think?
October 14, 2011 06:32 PM
It's true that we don't know if they are from the US,but the variety of names and that they spoke english made it make sense. English could just be a common language between them of course
October 14, 2011 02:51 PM
We will hopefully see something from Kenya now that he has made the team. We may see more from him.
Konomi tends to use one page kills on fodder characters, which I think that the majority of the...
October 14, 2011 02:44 PM
Realistically, they would play spain because they are the best, but it will be the Us eventually because Konomi loves to sick his monster characters on fodder Americans, like with Nagoya Seitoku or...
October 14, 2011 01:04 AM
It should probably be seperate techniques, the problem is that we have no idea what to do with zan.
October 12, 2011 11:38 PM
For example: People with twist serves or variations on them always play matches together
Echizen vs Shinji
Echizen vs Akaya
Echizen vs Yuuta(not a serve but still)
Akaya vs Flower guy(in doubles)...
October 10, 2011 10:32 PM
the principle behind tsubame gaeshi is sound, if the other guy hits a ball with a lot of topspin the ball rolls towards you, and by slicing it you can take advantage of this to produce more slice...
