There's cases where the actual DLCs are worth spending money on though.
Like say on Valkyria Chronicle. In the main game, you NEVER get to control a valkyrie, which pissed off numerous gamers....

People don't like playing Nazi Zombies online, so I switched to Metal Gear Portable Ops+ on my PSP. Then I found out nobody plays that game online (they're all still on Monster Hunter). Oh joy.

I finished CoD4 on Hardened mode today. It was fun, but ended up depressing.
