Yes, Cross Manage lacks any foreshadowing of that kind that won't be resolved within the next few chapters. I've been reading the series through the official release, and they were hyping one...

Actually, I'd argue that Nisekoi's recent dip in ranks is because of the newest harem member, since both of the last two ranked chapters advanced the story rather significantly, but focused on her.

To be perfectly honest, while it was a little interesting, it's still not enough for me to prefer Barrage being kept over Koisome.

Nisekoi's name, at least, was translated. It literally means "Fake Love".

Didn't the second Nanamine arc have that rather important flashback and explanation about Mashiro's uncle? The first Nanamine arc also has Nakai returning and becoming Hiramaru's assistant.
