Far better to have a short intro to the trainer, and then moving on with the story then more mucking around with a training arc. Especially for a borderline series.

Atleast it sounds like from the translation they are not doing a training arc, or even a training montage ;p. Probably just some flashbacks on and off in future chapters, much to move the story...

Very interesting, although it seems that Psyren's story is moving much faster than a lot of Shounen's. Maybe it was because of how close it was to being semi canceled early in it's life... Or maybe...
