Manga News: Check out this week's new manga (7/21/14 - 7/27/14).
Forum News: Visit new sections for Nisekoi and Kingdom!
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...quare-magazine hate my life. The strange thing is the comment of the mangaka. Make you thing what did he mean by that?
I don't see this as confirmation that Claymore is finished, rather that the people over at ANN saw the fuss people are making and are repeating he fa speculation as fact. Here's their evidence:
"In the June issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine this week, the last panel of Norihiro Yagi's Claymore manga announced that the series has come to an end."
This just means the "CLAYMORE-end" panel.
And then the comment about the noodles which mentions the editor, I don't have any idea what that meant.
So...as you probably noticed already, there are some new subsections, that are open to exploration, posting, and just general hangout. Enjoy!!
Thanks for the new subsections! I am enjoying them incredibly, and i think others do too
You probably noticed already that the Claymore forum has undergone some expansion. This was necessary because of the growing community here on MH, and the staff felt a growing community needs more places to hangout, share our thoughts and discuss the manga.
Here's the current layout of the forum:
All these info can be found in the descriptions of the particular sections.
- Main board - everything that is generally related to Claymore can be discussed here, new threads can be created as well as contributing to already existent threads within the boundaries of the topic.
- Forbidden Library - place where to discuss individual characters or issues that arise surrounding them, as well as the techniques and fighting styles employed in the manga
- Abyssal Pit - a place to pit the characters of the manga to fight in fantasy matches
- Playground - Place for hanging out, and other non-manga related discussions, yet still related to Claymore
Which brings me to the topic of the Image thread...many people raised concerns about the thread not being visible at all, or not much. Looking at the list above, it's clear that the Image thread falls under the last category of discussions, and thus the thread was moved there.
However as you've seen we've created a redirect on the main page, for those who are unfamiliar with the layout of this forum and the purpose of its layout. Also this post serves as a reminder, and a sort of guide as well.
It has been suggested that there should be an entirely different place for the image thread. The problem with that is the fact that the Image thread is a collection of artworks collected from different artists, and only on a few occasions do the posts contain an original work of the poster.
MH facilitates a place for original art though: Manga Art section
If you have any original artwork or have the explicit permission of an artist to post his work here on MH, please use that section. Each work of art will need a separate thread, and if we will be seeing a growth in the number of such threads, then the staff will create a separate section altogether.
Otherwise this Claymore forum and its layout serves best for discussion about the manga first and foremost. Other fun activities will have to be taken care in the Playground.
MH's forum layout was built with a deliberate design, and we can only stray from it so much. Both the Playground and the Manga Art sections are just a click away, so don't hesitate, and thanks for understanding!
I got a suggestion for the spoilerthreads is it in any way possible, that there'll be two threads one only for spoilers and translations and one for discussions of these spoilers in the future? I for myself was a bit annoyed cause everytime the the thread gets bumped it's just cause of the discussion and not because of new spoilers, translations etc. This month was very extreme on this part. It's just a suggestion on my end
Sorry for the bad style of the post, sent it via iPhone :-)
That would make this sub-forum more messy and there's no need for that IMO.
1) You can subscribe to translations and choose to be notified either via shoutbox or email or PM or a combination of these things.
2) For scanlations there is http://www.mangaupdates.com/releases.html
3) There are also manga aggregator sites which upload the fist scanlation there is (even if it's complete shit) in case you wouldn't want to use methods menioned above
4) Once English scanlation is out the thread loses it's [Spoiler] tag and it becomes [Chapter] thread so once it's done you can search the thread and voila

^ of course it helped sales, as did moving onward in the general direction of Clare's return
still nice to see it is doing good, though I would feel slightly insulted should it ever turn out they simply pulled that stunt to push it ^^
If not for the narrative thread review's done by Super Angillis I don't know if I would visit this forum quite so often. But the chapter has been released for half a month & still, no Super Angillis review.
Just felt the need to say I'm missing it, and appreciate it when it happens. Stating chapter events plainly & systematically helps clarify things a bit. It's a welcome ritual. Granted, it's time consuming to write, hence the reason I don't or can't do it myself.
Goral, that is one of the highest rankings that Claymore's had for a long while. In terms of officially ranked series, Claymore's actually 5th, as the Houkago is an extra PoT/SPoT thing that Konomi does sometimes, and it's placed immediately after the SPoT chapter. SPoT's always ranked higher than Claymore when color pages aren't involved, so Claymore's really 6th, as you originally put it.
