    Help with translating handwritten kanji

With D.Gray-man's chapter 113, there is a small handwritten line. Because it's too small to see the strokes and such clearly, I can't look it up in a dictionary T^T Can anyone help?

    Handwritten kanji . . . >.>"

    Hiya~ XD

Umm . . . I need some help with a kanji that is handwritten. Have been figuring out what that kanji is for quite a while now (nearly a month - -") with the whole WoaA team working on a single kanji so that we can release the scanlation already . . . >_<"

The first kanji on the second column of the upper one . . . I can't seem to figure out what it is. One person did point out that it might be 愛し, which does make sense, but I just want to make sure . . . >_<"

And yeah . . . have been quite a while since I last posted here, since I don't usually want to post a thread here unless I'm really sure that I'm stuck . . . >_<"

I'd agree, just to put another name in here.
