French is really tough for me coz i cant figure out how to pronounce those words properly
French is not a very difficult language, if you wanna learn it. If you speak any roman language, it's pretty easy to get the pronunciation. It won't be completely right, but you may get the gist of it.
a - ah as in father
i - ee as in peanut
u - oo as in
e - eugh
o - o
If you know japanese or spanish vowels they're all the same except for "e"
Hmmm...mmmmmm French looks like very difficult man, all of the words are like hard to pronounciate for me!!! OMGzOMGz everything is sooo complicated.... But maybe after you try it is easy.... maybe??
French is my first language. English in my second. Although I seem to be better at English than French.
wouaw! pas de chance le francais est super dur a apprendre
moi jessai l'allemand... bah c'est encore pire...
French is my minor, but I took a brief break from it to begin learning Japanese. I'm going to be taking Elementary Japanese 2 and Advanced French Composition next semester. I must be crazy. I may take French literature instead if it seems to much for me.
I'm french, and I'm not that good at it lol.But it's quite hard I agree.
My english is wors (t.Then, my japanese is way worst. Finally I learned spanish for 5 years, and I can't make a correct sentence. If you got any questions...
Lol, yeah, Ratp (metro/underground/tuber) employees aren't that good in English indeed. Here in France, we usually begin English classes (or German) at 11/12.But in the same class the levels are very different, my pal here had the exact same professors, still he sucks really bad.
For someone that had some French at high school (mandatory) and also took some French lessons (once a week for around a year) I really suck at speaking it, though I do understand a thing or two when reading it. Too bad the French don't have a neuter gender... Anyway, this post if here to provide some trivia!
The "vous de politesse" of the French was passed on to the Greeks as well, though I don't really know as of when. The Greek language has a documented history of some 3.500 years, so compared to that it's only recently that we acquired the "vous de politesse". In my very humble opinion it is hypocritic and should be used, as we completely lack the cultural background to justify its use. A common funny case stemming from this is talking to the Christian God or Jesus Christ (when praying) in the first person and to various priests of high status in the plural (vous de politesse)! Makes you wonder what society places higher...
Hope you found that interesting...
I never knew that about praying in French Anax. Wow. Maybe it can be justified since you are supposed to have a close personal relationship with God...I guess that works. heh
Ummm, not praying in French, more like following the "vous de politesse" of the French when talking to priests, but not when "talking" to God. Perhaps the close personal relationship works for you, I still think it all hypocrisy! We didn't have to assimilate this part of the French culture into ours, but we did in order to be "in fashion" when anything French was a trend... Also, I have my own relationship with deities and don't really follow a religion. (just for the record)
J'ai apprendé (I hope this is right... passé composé? ) pour cinq ans et j'ai oublier beacoup de choses, parceque je deteste le temps comme subjonctif et les autres merde choses grammatical (lol... I hope you understand this a little bit)!
Geez, couldn't there only be "present" and "passé composé"???
the problem with the french is the pronunciation
da rippa, that's a bit of.
"J'ai appris" - c'est le vrai forme. Et l'action doit etre finit. (oublie comment mettre les accents dand l'ordinateur)
Speaking of French, I side with those saying French is hard. I learned it since I was 5 and still got level B in exam.
btw It's that hard I've already begun to forget some things.
Bein!
