There are many meitou in the one piece world and seeing as Ryuma's sword is about to be introduced I thought it would be helpful if people could name various swords in this thread so that some blank spaces can be filled...

I'll start off ...

Kokutou Yoru

Rank: Saijyou O Waza Mono (ultimate grade sword)

User: Hawk Eyes Mihawk (best swords man in the world)

Info: Only 12 in the whole world. Shaped in the form of a cross. Used to break Zoro's two swords on Don Kreig's ship. The blade is coal black...


Sandai Kitetsu

Rank: Waza Mono

User: Roronoa Zoro

Info: Cursed Sword. Unlucky sword whose previous owners have all died.Zoro bet his sword arm on it to try its luck.

what about the other two swords of zoro. there's this white one he got from kuina, and the other one is another legendary sword he got from the swords-store owner. I forgot their names though..

Also tashigi, soon after getting on alabasta, found a legendary sword (again forgot its name).

Name Yubashiri

Rank: Ryo Wazamono

Info: Given to him at the swordshop in Loguetown. It was destroyed by a marine named "Shu" who had eaten the devil's fruit Sab Sabi no mi (Sabi=rust) at Enies Lobby. It is the sword with the black hilt and sheath.



Name: Wado Ichimonji

Rank: O Wazamono

Info: Kuina's sword given to him after her death. Zorro pledged to be the worlds best swordsman with this sword. It was, symbolically the only sord that was not destroyed by Mihawk during His and Zorro's duel. Has a white sheath.


The sword which Tashigi found during the Alabasta Arc was...

Info: Taken from a villain who had been captured by Smoker. Seeing as Mr. 11 was captured and he was a swordsman, it is probable that the sword belonged to him.

Wadō Ichimonji (The One Road of Harmony)

There was nothing symbolic about its survival, or rather thats not the reason it wasn't destroyed, Wadō Ichimonji is an excellent grade sword just like Mihawks Großes Messer, thats why it did'nt break.

I checked Wikipedia because I was sure there was a list of the swords, but I couldn't find it. I think there isn't anymore the list on Wikipedia.

It's a list of the real wazamono swords who most of the people agree are the basis for the swords of the same name in onepiece.

Damn I wish they translated the names .... however the most interesting part is the paragraph at the top where they say that there are several swords that are so valuable that they have never been tested to be put into a class. However the quality and craftsmanship of those swords is said to be among the highest ever seen.
