The most shocking and spectacular moment you have ever seen in Naruto!

There are two things that come in to mind when I think about this, Rock Lee taking of his weights against Gaara and when the Sand shinobi appear in aid for the Konoha shinobi (Gaara, Temari and Kankuro Vs Sound ninja). First of all Rock Lee taking of weights.... GOD DAMNIT that was bloody amazing!!!! His speed, the way he was moving, the sound effects, the attempted punches and kicks and even omote renge!!! If that wasn't great enough when he opened the gates !!! A person who was called a "hot headed loser" began to "ping-pong" the feared Gaara and then the primary lotus him!!! As for the second one, the time they appeared was soo great, the Konoha shinobi were about to die when suddenly someone interfers with thier fight... the build up to who it is... then they introduce them selves!!! They both were memorable moments for me!!!

I know i am very unoriginal, but the Sasuke vs Naruto fight at the Valley of the End...

Sasuke: "What the hell are you?!?"
Naruto: "A friend."
Naruto: "That is why i say, i can't give you up to Orochimaru"
Naruto: "Even if i have to break your arms and legs, i'm going to stop you!!"

One of the most shoking moment is Sasuke facing Itachi with the bodies of their parents between them.

Sasuke : "Why, Why ?!?! Brother, Brother...Father and mother are.."
Sasuke : "Who the hell....This...."

in the beginning when iruka fights to save naruto w/ the scroll, shortly afterwards the hokage explains to iruka why naruto is so alone. made me cry.

Haku's death, more specifically Zabuza'a grief over that death, was the best moment for me so far.  Back in the day, which would in fact be last winter, I was not a fan of Naruto. Rather, I was skulking in the shadows, warily watching many of my friends give in and go over to "that" side.  Then, there was the matter of my little sister getting her hands on the subtitled episodes that finish off the story of Zabuza and Haku.  My reaction: "You mean the Naruto series is <i>good</i>? It has character and drama?"  Then, she promptly pulled up the episode where Sasuke protects Naruto - I was touched, and incidentally...hooked.  Swallowed it all - now I'm a fanatic of the manga and waiting every week with the rest of MH.

i got that fluttery giddy feeling all the way to my toes when Kankurou killed Sakon/Ukon with his puppet that time...That made me like OHMYGOD! GLEE!

and also when Lee busts out with the Drunken Fist! XDDDDDDDD

And also...um...OH! When Sasuke wretches after he thinks he has killed Naruto (in the anime). I'm sure i've mentioned that before here somewhere...XP

And also when Sasuke goes back to the Uchiha district after he wakes up in the hospital (as a child) and his vision fades in and out seeing "ghosts" of his family in the streets. That was very powerfully shown, and it also made me think differently about sharingan, even though sasuke didn't even have it then, and it was only in the anime...but yeah. That was a good moment. *nods*

I have to agree with Tanuki-dono, Haku's death ( or to be more precise, his being impaled through the chest by Kakashi's Chidori ) was probably the most shocking moment in the series for me. At that point I started wondering how American Shonen Jump magazine was going to get away with it if kids' parents saw that scene! ( Though it seems like they did. )

But the most memorable for me is when Naruto first became Kyuubified ( when he thought Sasuke was done for, against Haku. ) That scene of the huge, griowling fox's chakra hovering above Naruto's little body in the middle of all the ice mirrors was just amazing. The rest of the chapter didn't let me down either, Haku got pwned like crazy.

other shocking parts to me was the death of the 3rd. and the funeral was so sad. but a shockin end to the fight with oro.

That was a great moment. Another moment of ownage was when Kabuto stopped Tsunade before she could kill Orochimaru. I thought at first it was Kabuto who betrayed Oro!

I think that the most me memorable scene for me had to have been when Saukra is facing the sound alone and she cuts off her hair in the middle of battle to fight them, even though she does not have much of a chance.

I think it was just the sheer courage that she showed after all that time of letting the boys protect her. Not to mention that she was getting pretty badly beaten right before that and then to come back and still fight. It was just a good moment, and I think that it changed my opinion of Sakura after that. I could not really see her character the same as I had anymore.

Naruto protecting Iruka from Mizou, when he said "Don't touch Iruka sensei" and lifts his head after pushing away the ninja-star. His expression is just, priceless.

Gaaras expression when seeing Lee is capable of breaking his sand-guard.
Gaaras expression when seeing Nejis ultimate defence, and when seeing Naruto pulling out his Kyubii.

Everything in the Haku fight. Sasuke protecting Naruto with his own "life", Naruto going crazy for the first time, really shocked me, Sakura running straight past Naruto towards Sasukes body while crying, Haku giving his own life for Zabusa.

Zabusa taking their revenge. The snow, and the sentance "If possible, I would like to go wherever you are going, Haku."

The Naruto-movie; When running away from the train without any chakra, and telling the princess to shut up.
The 7-coloured chakra.
"It's obvious this story is gonna have a happy ending! "
"I, the sad princess of ice, believe in you Naruto."

Obito, everything about him.

First time Naruto used the Rasengan (vs. Kabuto) Tsunades face was just, prefect
Tsunade: "It couldn't be..?"
Naruto:     "RASENGAN!!!!!"
Tsunade:  *shocked*

Sasuke vs Orochimaru in the Forrest of Death.
Sasuke vs Naruto, the secound fight.
Naruto: A..a-amazing..!
Sasuke: Shut up Naruto!  AAAAAAAH!! *Katon! Mythical Fire Flower*
*Making lava of the whole fucking mountain..*

AAH! There is so much to choose from.. guess it's just a perfect series.. atleast when following the manga..

When Sasuke saw his head-protector lying next to Narutos knocked out body, he saw the scar in the forheadprotector and started thinking what Naruto had said, and what he was becoming himself. Instead of using this golden oppertunity to kill Naruto, he thought of what Naruto had tought him simply by scarring his forheadprotector, and he left him alive, saying to himself, to Itachi:

I will not be your puppet!
I will gain strengh in my own way!
I will surpass you in my own way!

He didn't manage to get him back home, but undoubtidly changed his destiny drasticly.
Atleast this is how I interpeted it..

Yet another moment was when Deidara owned Gaara in his own village, with all the ninjas looking at their Kazekage XD

Err, a Kazakages job is to protect the village, even at the cost of his own life. Gaara forfilled his job perfectly and saved everyone.
