Naruto's Lover: Who should it be and why?

I voted for hinata,but mostly because I accumulated a lot of hate against Sakura till the 2nd part of Naruto.Both of them have done something important for him,so I think both of them deserve his love.Besides, the way at which Sakura looks at Naruto has changed,and there's still the fact that when they see sasuke,he tries to kill them.Now,you could have loved him,but seeing that he's going to kill you and all of your friends doesn't mean anything?Plus there's what Yamato was saying to Sakura after the Naruto-4-tailed-fox,right before Naruto wake up again.Maybe Yamato was wrong,but Sakura reacted as if he hitted the spot.Anyway,I hope that the author stop talking about this,or that he finally takes a clear path,cause you know,character development!Naruto can't remain a kid forever,he must become the Hokage first of all!

Hinata aspire naruto's courage and personality kinda look up to him as a role model. While sakura didn't like anything about him and became fond of him through the time they have spent and what they went through together.

Hinata, because Sakura is all Sasuke, she never tried to understand that Naruto is a good person, she just kind of starting realizing it, but if it came down to Naruto of Sasuke she would go for Sasuke

im sorry but i would have to go against the majority and say sakura, yes hinata has loved him longer. but naruto is so clueless about anything, sakura at first had like the atypical boyband crush on sasuke but she has slowly came to realize how much she really likes him sakura has also completely accepted the facts about naruto being the container for the kyuubi well hinata only has a clue or two if she saw him go crazy would she really be able to have feelings for him or fear him, ever since she was little she has watched naruto and never really understood why everyone outcasted him after she learns the reason can she really keep her feelings? so the point im driving at is sakura completely accepts naruto as him while hinata only knows a thing or two about him but doesnt have any idea about his big secret, but the question really is though what way does sakura really love naruto is it as a lover type? or is it a i love u as my brother type of love...

We'll know te answer to that question after this arc but all things considered, I don't think Hinata sees Naruto as any normal person whom she just so happens to have a slight crush on. Take Naruto as Hinata's (Dare I say) Muse. Her inspiration, I don't think Hinata would even be alive today had not it been for her trust in Naruto. Naruto showed Hinata that although she may be considered a failure it just means she has the chance a genius would never have, to prove she can be the better or even the best. I know women are often fickle but I don't think she'll see him as a monster, if anything she'll faint from concern.

I agree with plenty of what you explained except with a few things...

1. Sakura might be falling in love with Naruto, but she has to realize what she truly feels for him and actually accept it.
2. Sakura felt anxiety when she saw Naruto in his four tail form and she ran to him, good. This could be real love, sisterly love or friendship, we don't know. Heck I doubt that Sakura is aware of what she truly feels for Naruto.
3. In the case of Hinata, you said how she would react after knowing that naruto is the container of kyubi? I doubt that it would change what she feels for him. In fact it might increase her love for him. Hinata treated Naruto well during his childhood (as we saw in flashbacks) and she didn't know why people treated him so bad, but if you actually read every naruhina moment during the manga you'll find out that she don't need a reason to stop treating him well or to change the way she thinks/feels about him. Hinata already stated why she likes Naruto, she likes naruto because he is "proud failure", I won't go deep into explaining what she meant with "proud failure", but Hinata saw long ago what Sakura is starting to see in naruto. So basically Hinata likes Naruto for what he truly is and for what other thinks about him.
4. Both girls are good for Naruto. And both are the same as Naruto in a way or another. Sakura and Naruto always express theirself in the same way, just look a how they react when kakashi is late and comes with an stupid excuse like I had to help an old woman to cross the street. Hinata is the same as Naruto in another way, she has to prove something to herself and other others, just like Naruto. They both have been called failure and they both are working hard to be acknowledged. Hinata want to be acknowledged by her clan, family, father and at the same time she fights against her shyness and try to become stronger to stay close to Naruto. Hinata is shy but she attacks when she is ready to. I used the word "attack", because it's how kishimoto described her relationship with naruto, For those who says that Hinata is to shy to establish a relationship with naruto, remember that she was the first to attack (talk with) Naruto during the chuunin exams, not only once but twice, she started the conversation twice and a third time after naruto defeated kiba. And if you ask me, her attack are pretty effective because she became from someone that he didn't notice at all (Chunim exams) "Naruto: ohh Hinata is you, I didn't notice you" to someone he recognizes right away (Naruto 2, Naruto is looking for members after returning from suna) "Naruto: Hinata what are you doing behind here" , "Shino: Naruto you recognized Hinata right away".

Speaking of which I expect that we'll see that happen pretty soon. Of course by now she knows that Naruto has Kyuubi sealed inside of him. If she didn't know already she does now since Kabuto just came out and said it earlier. As far as who ends up with Naruto goes I don't think we'll see anything definitive in this arc. The last thing he should be doing in the middle of chasing down Sasuke and avoiding life or death battles with Akatsuki is start a relationship with anyone. For now he should try and stay focused.

Yeah, I realized that because there's not time for much love drama. We might see more during the chunin/jounin exams? or after the 3 years timeskip (Naruto at 18 yrs old).

I always more like pairing NaruxHina than NaruxSaku, and besides Sakura would better fits Saske side Of kors, I like how Hinata so much loves Naruto, but that brainless didnt noticed that :x Even if part 2 in Sai mini saga showed some feelings of Sakura due to Yamato, maybe some developing feelings, I think it's not so much to say it's love to the boy she likes, but rather as a brother, but who knows what Yamato wanted to end

I think Hinata is the one who truly deserve Naruto's love because even though she genuinely support and cheer him on, Naruto will only be interested in Sakura. If Hinata does confess her love for Naruto, Naruto might try to avoid Hinata because the situation might turn akward incredibly fast. It might take years before Naruto is comfortable with the fact that Hinata loves him. That is why she deserves his love even if Naruto has reserved it for Sakura.

As for Sakura, it was only after Sasuke had left that Naruto and Sakura drew closer to one another. They finally shared something in common which was Sasuke. It was also then that Sakura started to develop a genuine friendship with Naruto. As for her feelings as of late, I think that Sakura's feelings towards Naruto is mixed. On one hand she pities Naruto for being the Jinchuriki for the Kyuubi and on one hand, she just wants to continue her mutual friendship without complicating matters. I'm afraid that if she does fall in love with Naruto, it might be born out of her pity and her own self-contempt for not being able to do anything to help out with the situation.

As one person said, Naruto doesn't deserve Hinata but I think Sakura doesn't deserve Naruto either.

Hinata probably deserves Naruto's affection more, considering that even if Sakura develops full on romantic feelings for Naruto it will be a relatively recent development, in Hinata's case they've been a part of her character since the very beginning(Of course on the other side of that Naruto's had feelings for Sakura since the beginning as well).

I vote for Naruto and Sakura though because Naruto and Hinata would make a pretty boring couple and Hinata falling into the role of timid girlfriend/wife would be a such a waste of a good character. Sakura's personality on the other hand would be great to watch dealing with some of Naruto's more perverted traits. It would be endless fountain of hilarious comic relief.
