Tobi's one shot-K.O jutsu

Let's anticipate what his one shot - K.O jutsu that he used with Deidera.

It could not have been a Sharingan based jutsu as that would reveal his powers to Deidera, unless Deidera already knows Tobi to be an Uchiha.

If Tobi is an Uchiha, maybe that jutsu was fire element based, but to take out a bijuu with a fire ball or something is quite impossible.

What do you think, in the light of the recent events?

I dare to say that IS a mangenkyou sharingan. Deidara doesn't notice because each mangenkyou sharingan has different kind of use (note the different in use of mangenkyou between kakashi and Itachi). So that probably a new kind of mangenkyou that make deidara didn't notice at all...

I don't think is a flame-based jutsu, since sanbi is a water element kyuubi and they fought in water. I don't say that fire cannot defeat water. if it's big enough it can, but not on 1 hit ko attack of course....

probably did some simple thing based on the chakra type of the bijuu....
or he has the same super strength jutsu used by the shodai?

not sharingan based or deidara would have hada fright....

Yes, now that you've mentioned it, it can't be fire based. I still don't think it's Sharingan based, especially since genjutsus like Tsukiyomi will stir up Dedeira's emotions. But from word-for-word analysis, it does seem like a shooting-jutsu.

hehe thats the best i can come up with cuz we know its a bijuu and he finished it with one hit...
i guess he has to be somethign like that... maybe he put a genjutsu on deidara and then used his sharingan in the meantime

Yeah I think it was a genjutsu on Deidera.

Deidera seemed like he wasn't able to handle it. A bijuu is strong, mind you. So why was it so easy for Tobi?

i believe it was a fire jutsu thats y deidara was left with such a good impression that somehow a fire jutsu pwned a water bijuu

I just want to say...if only Deidara knew who he was bossing around. Deidara'd probably wet his pants lol

This is difficult. What would he use that would be strong enough to knock it out, but enough to hold back so he didn't kill it.

To tell you the truth, I do not think it could of been something flashy because if it was, Deidara would definitely not continue to underestimate Tobi. Deidara would probably start to catch on to Tobi's true power. I think Tobi did use genjutsu on Deidara without Deidara noticing and made it look like he used some sort of regular attack to knock it out, when he actually probably used a strong Earth-Based (remember water is weak against Earth) or Water-Based attack. Also, it's still possibly that he knocked it out with the Sharingan while keeping up the genjutsu on Deidara.

Tobi was regarded, at least in the open, as the weakest in the Akatsuki. He was totally replaceable. Now that Deidera's dead, I don't think there will be any flashbacks to see what really happened.
