I'm surprised there is another Tegami Bachi anime in the works already.
Is Tegami Bachi unpopular or did the anime go though too much of the manga and is caching up too fast?

Re: Jump Square (Monthly Shounen Mag by Shueisha)

Tegami Bachi is one of Jump SQ best titles now. It sells about 100,000 volumes in 2 weeks. I would say right behind Shin PoT, Claymore, and DGM in terms of sales. The anime is also selling well, it's not a surprise to me since the current anime is very slow with the canon material and added lots of fillers. A 2nd season can fill all the holes in the story.

Prince of Tennis having color pages and being on the cover makes me happy. It's been too long since the last set of color pages for the series.

I was surprised because I forgot how many episodes were initially announced. I was thinking it was originally 52 or something but apparently it was just 26 and the anime is approaching that number in the next month or two.

I just had to re-check all of that.

Yay, another Tegami Bachi season! I really like the first season, even if it has shoddy CGI and is pretty slow at times.

I hope D.Gray-Man's current status as one of Jump SQ's frontrunners helps its chances at another season. To this day, I am still bothered with how they ended the Anime. They could have done it Inuyasha style, ending with at least something resolved, but instead they ended it right when a bunch of new information was revealed.

I'm kind of surprised there are lots of animated adaptation for Jump Square series this year; Tegami bachi going to have its 2nd season, Mayoi Neko's anime adaptation going to aired at April, Shiki's anime adaptation going to aired at July, and Kure-nai's OVA going to release at July, too.

Kure-nai and Mayoi Neko don't really count. Both are light novels published by Shueisha. The manga are tie ins to promote the upcoming anime. Kind of the way Haruhi Suzumiya is not a Shonen Ace anime and Toradora is not a Dengeki Daioh anime. The anime of Kure-nai follows the novels plot, nothing from the manga was animated. At least in the first season.

I think you're right about Mayoi Neko, but I think Kure-nai's OVA counts because it was announced in Jump SQ official website. There going to be manga-based story and OVA original story.

Re: Jump Square (Monthly Shounen Mag by Shueisha)

Mayoi Neko taking the cover in June. I look forward to that. As well as the color this issue since I like Yabuki's art in general. I am hoping Dr. Rurru will deliver as well.

Serializing a one shot from 10 years ago and that was in WSJ? This is going to set an interesting precedent.

No Shin Prince of Garbage in the June issue is a pleasure to see.

Prince of Tennis absent next month? That's going to be a painful two months to sit around waiting for the next chapters.
