Naruto Bloodline Limit Discussion

the only characters that are really powerful in the story with the exception of sandaime hokage and kakashi are the ones with either uniques skills or bloodline limits...
eg: uchihas, hyuugas, haku, kimmimaro, juggo, yondaime ( thunder god jutsu) and so on...
the only way naruto is going to get better is if he has a few more skills and a bloodline limit or something that he develops that will be unique to himself... like mokuton ninjutsu but he has only one type of chakra so far.....

the question is simple.... do you think naruto has a unique bloodline limit?

Hmm i don't think so, i think his 'uniqueness' was having the Kyuubi sealed inside him, that was sort of the bloodline limit of him. It provided him with uber strength when he needed it and it proved to be a match for the bloodline limit of the Uchiha; sharingan.

but sasuke already countered the kyuubi... not to mention the possibility that its going to be removed from him as well....
we know he has an insane amount of chakra himself without the kyuubi..... maybe ...just maybe...
he's going to have a space time jutsu like yondai hokage...
hoping for soethign of that sort.

im sorry but im going to have to disagree if naruto discovers he has a bloodline limit then im sorry but it would make the story so shity, naruto's true ability is his ability to get back up and keep trying. this only makes naruto totaly unique in the ninja world along with his futon rasengan and mass shadow clones his version of space and time manipulation would have to be his ability to live 1000s of life times in a single instance using the mass shadow clones.

Naruto won't develop a kekkei genkai (bloodline limit). Bloodline Limits are unique to clans and Naruto doesn't belong to any clan, as far as we know. He would have been told this. He wouldn't have been "that scary kid", he would have been "that scary kid from the uzumaki clan". It is possible for him to develop some unique abilities. And his children could share this abilities with him, then the children would have a kekkei genkai. Jiraya would have told him of the possibility of a bloodline limit (oh god, that's a torture to type) and they would have tried to awaken it instead of learning something else. Well maybe it could be "that jutsu" but i think "that jutsu" is just a way of releasing kyuubi, which isn't a "jutsu" at all. Okay ... after writing "jutsu" three times, and saying it in my head in a very sarcastic way i am scared of me and think i should stop writing.

maybe he will be able to create a bloodline but technically naruto special ability is his inhuman chakra+shadow clones allowing him to effectively have 1000 things going at once.

Naruto has a number of special traits. His chakra is vastly stronger then Kyuubi's venomous chakra. Naruto can use both Shape and Elemental Manipulation at thier highest level in combination something that pretty much no one else can do. Both of those could be considered Blood line abilities and of Course gawd only knows what would happen if he had kids with Sakura, or Hinata and what traits they might inherit as Kyuubi is slowly being permanently integrated into Naruto.

Uh, Kakashi has Sharingan. And have you forgotten about Jiraiya, someone who Itachi says could defeat both himself and Kisame? Naruto developing a bloodline would make the series very boring.

maybe it wont.... think of it this way... right now the restof the characters are so much stronger... naruto can use his fuuton rasengan and go attack anyone from neji to sasuke and get taken out before he even charges up his chakra for a shot....
and then there is the problem that all he has are 3 jutsus....
summoning, clone and rasengan.....
where as everyone else hinata included seem to have a cartload of jutsu for each and every situation....
dont you think that being his story he should be a little more skilled?
being a character like rocky (movie, stallone) who gets up no matter how many times he's knocked down is nice but it gets boring after some time...

well yea this is true but these are all special traits of their clans. naruto as far as we know comes from no clan. he might not have never many jutsu BUT he does use his own style of taijitsu and its very strong in its own way. and what ninjitsu he does know he makes very good use of so instead of having a cartload of imperfected jutsues he has a few abslutly perfected ones that he makes very good use of the fact that he has that massive amount of chakra and can do shadow clone makes him quiet competent in his own skill

true once again....
but remember his mass shadow clones being taken out by sasuke? and that was when he dint use the cursed seal and dint have any of orochimarus techniques...

and there is the problem that naruto does not have the speed that sasuke/kakashi/lee has
he does not have neji's chakra control or kurenai's or itachis genjutsu skill.... he does not have tsunade's or sakuras strength.... all he has is his insane chakra and the 9 tails which he unlike gaara has not learned to control properly...
he cant use genjutsu... and he cant even properly fight it... unless he manaages to learn something drastic like hiraishin no jutsu or soemthing the story will become anti climactic when a weak lead character seems to get up no matter what hits him and keeps winning for no apparent reason where as the other characters seem to be fighting based on skill and a lot of strategy...

oh and that brings me to the point that naruto does not even use proper strategies... which makes it weird that he's being considered strong by so many....

he does have strategies, just read the fight against kakuzu ... his strategies are different from shikamarus, but they do work .. shikamaru works one perfect plan, based on the information he has, but if their is one minor change, his plans will fail ..naruto is a spontaenous fighter, but he gathers information extremely fast and uses it immediately ..

^ Agreed, I think your nto giving Naruto some credit were credit is due, and thus far we don't know if he doesn't have any new Jutsu, we've never actually seen Naruto have a proper fight one on one without being worn out/Injured first. Trying out His new technique or going Kyuubi. My point is we've not actually seen Naruto have a fair to honest fight with anyone so its hard to judge on how much hes improved over the Jiraiya training let alone the Fuuton.

Anyway, as for a bloodline limit I think that would be overkill on Narutos part, unless its something he learns and develops himself on his road to becoming Hokage.

i agree^^ naruto also having a bloodline would be too much, because the series first started as naruto being the "loser" who slowly became strong, if he got something as beneficial as a bloodline limit it would detract from the reason naruto is naruto, because whatever the odds stacked against him he always fights with unyielding determination, and him having a bloodline limit, i believe this side of him will be lost and i don't think kishimoto would actually want to lose this side of naruto.

Naruto will never have a massive number of jutsu at his command, it just isn't his way of Ninja. He learns a very small pool of jutsu and then absolutely masters them using them in ways no one had thought possible before.

Neji couldn't beat Naruto during the chuunin exams when Naruto did not even have Rasengan. So I'm confused on how he would instantly drop Naruto.

A fight against Naruto right now as he is probably would go like this.

Opponent attacks and discovers he just pwned a Kage Bunshin.
More Naruto come.
Opponent blows more chakra defeating Kage Bunshin.
More Naruto replace them.
Eventually opponent runs out of chakra.
Naruto finally comes out and taps him on the head then he falls over exhausted.
Naruto wins...
