I guess that was the real Naruto who faces Itachi after all. I wonder if he's going to find away to counter the sharigan by fighting against Kakashi. Because he surely need to improve on fighting that type of jutsu..

Meh, I just don't think Naruto is a kage bushin because it'd be a total bullshit move on the manga-ka's fault. Building up a scene like that to the audience and then tossing it out seems pointless.

hmm i wonder what's going to happen. sasuke sure has been engaging plenty of battles lately. first vs. Orochi (and ends unexpectedly quick), then a bit vs. Jygo (whatever his name was...), then Deidara and now Itachi.

meh, they should rename this series to Sasuke now imho =_=;

but as far as my prediction goes, what's gonna follow is probably some stupid talk and some battles that probably will take us nowhere.

also, that shadow behind itach in the final page... i feel (like most of us) that it's Kisame and we will probably see some Suigetsu vs. Kisame action ;p...

Jiraiya's gonna die. Asuma was in a similar mood before he died. Guess that spells the end for the Three legendary Sannin. Next up after Jiraiya, Tsunade.

Well, I'd usually say "Itachi and Sasuke fight!" and that be it, but I really think that this is a sort of "pre-battle" we have here, an introduction, if you will. Naruto, The Leaf, Hebi, Sasuke, and Itachi are all here in the same general area, there cannot and will not be one single huge battle like this when there is so much potential for interference, I'll say that now. What will the others do, sit and wait? No, no.

Let us not forget the double page spread we got of Sasuke and Naruto of their meeting and their own bonds, I think that Naruto, the leaf, and Hebi will have a stand off, with Itachi backing off for a while, and once that's resolved, we'll go back to Sasuke and Itachi fighting. I don't know, I'm probably completely wrong, oh well. This will be interesting.

Like the aforementioned fight between Itachi and Sasuke, I think it will be pushed back a little farther, but we'll get to it soon, I feel. For now, I think we'll focus back on Naruto and Sasuke for a while, Naruto has been out of the spotlight for quite some time now, he's going to come back in a big way, I think. Once again, I'm probably completely off base. Axel = Teh suckage at predictions. One week.
