Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3

The true sequel to Storm 2 is coming out everybody! It's gonna be called Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3!

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations made its highly anticipated Japanese release in February. A month later, North America and Europe both had the chance to jump in on the fun. A few short months have passed and an interesting rumor has suddenly popped up – NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: ULTIMATE NINJA STORM 3 is making its way in 2013! This will be for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360, like Storm 2 and Generations, and developed by CyberConnect2.

From our understanding, Storm 3 will begin where Storm 2 left off, with the return of the action/adventure story mode. The rumor says this is all from the next issue of Shonen Jump. We will have to see it to believe it, but our heart certain skipped and beat, or two, upon reading this. Again, as the title says, this is a rumor! Lets wait to see if Shonen Jump delivers any exciting news to us. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, we would love it, that is for sure!

looks like epic boss battles are back and the story will start all the way from Kyuubi's attack on Konoha. another thing that's back, painfully waiting for the game's release date announcement, demo announcement, demo, and finally, release ^^

yeah i had heard rumors for a couple week nice to see it was true. looks like you can face the kyuubi nice or at least in story mode. also kcm naruto will be its own character in this game most likely since naruto spent almost the entire war in the mode. new character will be great like edo madara, bijuu mode naruto and 2nd mizukage

Now I'm again gonna start the process of checking for Storm news every day, and having to wait a year probably for the game itself.
I hate the wait.

His rasengan color is wrong though... Well, it's always been wrong in the anime, but with the yellow cloak it just looks weird.

Don't forget Jonin Kushina. Although she's not in the manga continuity (Jonin version, that is) she's likely to be included as a bonus character in the game since the movie's going to show her in action.

OMG I don't know wether I'm happy or sad at the prospect of suffering a year long nightmare anticipating NUNS3 news on a weekly basis. Geeking out at every scan, people desperately hoping for their favorite characters to make the final cut, people theorizing the changes and roster, wishing for the perfect storm game... I hate and love this, the wait to 2013 is already starting to become unbearable :P

Anyway, the war should definitely be over by the time this comes out. So all the major characters and forms should be in the new game. Though I'm quite sure a lot won't make the cut. My bet is that the sound 4 remains support only, unfortunately. On the plus side: Kyubi mode 2 Naruto, a new Sasuke with EMS, Kabuchimaru with sage mode, Tobi and the Six Paths, and Madara Uchiha will definitely make it, 100% sure, would bet everything I own on it.

I think that KCM naruto might indeed be a seperate character, with Cloak mode level 2 as an awakening. Sasuke should be familiair territory. Tobi will likely be handled in the same way as Pain, though I (and a crapload of other people) desperately want all Jinchuriki to be playable as standalone chars. I'm curious to see how they handle Madara, he has a ton of moves to be incorporated. If jutsu finally become customizable again, this could help. But apart from that, I guess that Susano'o will be incorporated into his moves like sasuke in Generations, Wood style may be a jutsu, or a combo. I think his ultimate will be the Meteorite ownage. Hoping his awakening will be the perfect Susano'o.

Oh god yes! Finally news comes out, even though I was thinking that NUNS3 was going to come out only after the manga was over.

Still, this should go up to beyond where we currently are in the manga.
