My guess guys is that the translation wasn't purely exact. I've know for a while that VIZ has more accurate translations then scans I've read but I'd have to collect some HxH tankoban which I'm in the process of doing. Wish I could show you some examples. I assume he meant more like it's presence feels like his grandfather not it was his ren or technique.

Actually I only noticed this line WHILE reading the viz translation, and its roughly the same in the scanlation. That's granddad's Dragon drive. Killua knows the attack by name, my only theory is that killua has felt that aura before, and knows he has an attack by that name. Only now that he knows nen he understands it better, but maybe was witness to the attack as a child idk. I'm not sure really, I think its just a slight plot hole and a tiny one. Doesn't bug the hell out of me, just wonder if the new anime might change the wording slightly to have it make more sense.

Yeah during the Chimera Ant Arc Morel was one of the characters that you could count when the going was tough. He is certainly one of my favorite characters and IMO he made the arc pretty interesting on top of what else was going on.

I don't think the Killua thing is a plot-hole... after all, Killua (and everyone else in the room at the time) saw Illumi manipulating his face and other people(the judge) and no one seemed to question it, so I don't think Killua would question Zeno's ability (after all, there IS a lot of weird stuff in HxH world) . The dragon was materialized, thus normal people could see it, so Killua could see it and thought it was some "technique" from Zeno. Materialization is very close to Transformation, so it's totally possible.

Either that, or Killua thought that that/those dragon(s) were some magical creatures Zeno somehow had. Maybe he saw it once when he was little, asked Zeno "What were those dragons, grandpa?" and he answered "Friends." and it was left at that. When learning Nen years later, Killua realized that could only be a Nen ability, prior to the invasion, probably at some point when he was training. That's why he wasn't shocked and knew that it was Zeno's dragon.

One thing I noticed while looking at Zepile's introduction scene was that Gon mentioned putting your aura into a object was Ten. That is not wrong (Shu is an extension of Ten), but he talked like he knew how to do it. No plot-hole, since he never did say he could do that, it was just weird.

Gon's aura in those pages seems to be involving the rod. Either Ren also envelops any objects you're using or that was just the rod "piercing" the aura, for those panels to work.

I suddenly thought of an unrelated question: can you use Shu to reinforce materialized objects? I think not, since Ubo mentioned that Kurapika's chain could only be that strong if he was from Materialization or Manipulation, no mention to Reinforcement. That brought me to the question of why didn't Reinforcement matter if he was a Manipulator, then I figured it was because the chain's "strenght" was really strong, not the chain itself.
