It looks more like the anime than a video game...
err and what kind of game is that supposed to be???? o_O
Well the source is Gamespot. And if you look at the pic with dino, it's tipical from video game, with some panorama behind and the character in front flat and not in 3D. Plus they are things like 27 hits in yamamoto's pic, you won't see that in anime .
@Raijatsu it seems it's action (says gamespot).
looks nice, sadly those games don't stand a chance in europe (us more chance)
It will come out in a month in japan (25 october).
It's nice to see a game of the manga being released, it's proof the manga is doing well .
u guys r looking at the DS game here r some pics from the PS2 one
Wow! If it ever comes out in the US I'll tell my sister who lives there to buy it for me!
here, there are links to all FOUR Reborn video games - two on NDS and two on PS2.
The PS2 game slashout posted is not a fighting game unlike the others. It's an adventure game, meaning you walk around waiting for random events to happen.
Story: You play the main character, which is a little fledgling apprentice ninja hitman. One day, you are given a training mission which is to assassinate the 10th Vongola Boss (Tsuna).
One of the key points of the game is that you (the player) can disguise as any of the Vongola Family members to get near Tsuna in order to kill him. You can even disguise as Tsuna. There are also events when you meet the character you're disguised as.
That's about as much as I can figure out from the Jump ads and official site.
There were more games ? I didn't know Oo.
The story line seems awesome Kirimi ! I mean that's really original. Plus, we are not playing tsuna but trying to assassinate him Oo.
The game might be really fun. I really hope a US version will come out.
Wow the game looks interesting, if it comes out in U.S. I might even buy it ;p
The one Slashout was talking about is categorized by gamefaqs as "action>general", not like it means much. The other one on PS2 is a fighting game, looks pretty nice but really simple (like, only 2 attack buttons, plus the possibility to call your support character during the battle), just search for "hitman reborn dream hyper battle" on youtube and you'll find a few videos.
The DS games seem to be pretty terrible, even if the 2nd one looks like it improved a lot (and with everyone and everything from the Varia arc, it should be quite fun). It's some 4-player party fighter, like Jump Superstars, but I don't know much about it either.
Oh and there also is a 3rd DS game, which seems to be stylus minigames, such as "touch to dynamites Gokudera throws at you to defuse them", not really my kind of games.
edit : forgot to add, the PS2 fighting game is supposed to be ported to the Wii sometimes before christmas.
I know that this is the ps2 thread, but I just want to tell you guys that KHR: Dream Hyper Battle for Wii has a website:http://www.mmv.co.jp/special/game/reborn/wii/dream/
The release date for the Wii version is January 10th 2007.The Wii version has more character than the ps2 one, such as:Ryohei,Adult Lambo,XANXUS,Squalo,Belphegore.
And I read from an advertisement from one of Reborn's latest chapter that there will be Chrome Dokuro & Marmon as a support character.Looks like the Wii version is up to Vongola Rings arc while the PS2 version is just up to Kokuyou arc.
Man,I can't wait for this game coz' I have a Wii & I haven't buy the PS2 game yet.

There will be a Wii version too? Wow that's great. Well I don't expect it to be released in PAL . Since the manga isn't even out here yet.
To keep this on topic, I'll just repost some of what I said about the Wii game from here. XD
