I do not really think that the story of Gantz is a lie. Still, it would be funny if everything that happened in the Gantz room turned out to be a dream by Kei Kurono.

He woke up in the ending and said, "Why am I in a mental hospital?" Lol. Rofl.

I think that would be a little too much like St. Elsewhere.

But like I said before, I think those boxes are just a way for Oku to tell the story. Most Mangaka use them for character's monologues.

the internal monologue is used a lot in American comics but we rarely ever see it in Japanese one.

Those are the only two chapters that I have noticed, but I think that there are many more times that it happened. I will try to reread everything, but I don't have the time for that yet.

The first link is one of the pages from chapter 108 I mentioned.

In the second link it makes sense for Kurono to speak in the past tense, because he was unconscious in the present.

I don't mind if he dies in the end but as long as it's not now cause I want someone to use their 100 points for a weapon, it's the only 100pt choice that we're still not sure how it exactly works.

it's actually okay for me if kurono dies, as long as its at the very end, when we've already determined every other answer to the questions about the story and plot. otherwise, i'm not interested about those answers if kei's not there...

If Kurono dies, Kurono dies. Oku has established that life is both precious and cheap in the Gantz world. Sakata knew.

And Gantz556, we all know by now that you dislike Kurono and want him to die. No need to keep reiterating that. He died once already, wasn't that enough for you?

If Reika gets freaky she might have the power to manipulate Kurono in some f'ed up unnatural way.

Not enough character deaths in the manga! I want to see Kei Kurono die over and over gain. Not only Kurono, but every character in the manga (except Katou).

I will really be sad if Katou dies.

Will Kei Kurono marry Tae?

I like Katou, but I feel since he is Oku's favorite character he hasn't been in enough pain as the others... I want Katou to die. Or atleast get hurt more often to where I think he is dead.

die at all in Gantz. He represents what Gantz is, Mans struggle to survive in

courages and caring. He should be a spokesman for how Gantz made me a

Uhh Katou hasn't suffered nearly enough. I don't dislike Katou or anything, but Katou's death was pretty easy. Kei had the girl he loved killed in front of him. Kishimoto dissed him. Laura croft died for him. He lost alot of limbs. Lost his best friend (Katou). He even died seeing his brother's head.

Old man suffered a shitload more than Katou.

Cherry did also. He was raped by bullies and was even forced to blow his gym teacher. I mean come on that shit is fucked up. He also lost his good friend and mentor.

Inaba too even though I enjoyed his pain. Worthless.

Katou hasn't even lost the thing he cares for the most unlike everyone else.

Katou has suffered enough. He does not deserve to receive torture from Oku Hiroya. No more pain for Katou. I do not want him to die permanently.

Anyway, this is a thread for Kei Kurono, not Katou. I'm just saying.

Katou is a pretty cool guy. The only people who don't like him are "tough guys" Kurono doe snot deserve another death. He's had his share of pain. Kurono + Katou tag team = Love

So, do you guys think Kurono will ever learn about Akira's death?
