I want to see Sasuke vs prime madara. That's still a possibility if Madara is in the coffin... Kabuto's trump card.

Nagato vs Madara would be an amazing fight. Atm, I think Nagato is the only one who could stand up to Madara's might alone.

MUCH better that Nagato vs Itachi.

Personally there's not one shinobi that can come close to taking on Madara alone. Nagato chances are no better then If Itachi was to face Madara.

Much better chance than Itachi. Much better. Nagato stands a chance because he's already at the peak of dojutsu, Madara had to work his way up to that level (just in terms of dojutsu).

Let's not forget that it took 3 of some of the strongest shinobi to have existed in the Narutoverse to take down Nagato, who in turn was being controlled and still had fruxed up legs.

Nagato is a beast, but so is Itachi.. They have a 55% chance of taking down Madara together ,and thats simply cause of Itachi's Intellengence. Seprate, they have about a 15% chance.... Nagato have stronger eyes and better Ninjutsu but Itachi's brain makes up for what he lacks in other areas, Putting him on a even playing field aginst Nagato.

Nagato was fast tracked to the Rinnegan instantly, so whether Madara gave it to him or not doesn't matter, they both have access to the peak of doujutsu; though Madara had to work up to that level.
