    here in rio it's about 25 to 30 °C (average temperature). somedays we get even 38°C this year.
    in fortaleza, where Agrias lives, i believe it's a bit hotter, and the temperature is almost constant during the year because it's nearer to the equator line.

    I´d say....this "helicopter cabs" are very, very rare, most common in São Paulo, but very rare anyway. Just for veeeery rich corporation presidents and things like that ;p
    But i´ve worked in 2 projects with helipads myself...but they´re corporate buildings. Not every building have a helipad, it´s rare. ;p I´ve never heard of this "helicopter" fame before...funny ^^;;

    I hope this isn't taken the wrong way but you grasp of English is excellent. Do they teach English in schools. Additionally i know you speak Portuguese.. thus making you trilingual perhaps quad lingual if you speak Japanese.

    I'm considering vacationing in Brazil.. would you say that one must know Spanish or Portuguese?
    How much heat can you take?

    Really? Thanks a lot ^^; My english is not sooo good, though...i really have trouble when trying to say some things, and my grammar is poor ^^;

    Actually, english is an obligatory in school; spanish isn´t, and I don´t know a single word of spanish ^^;
    Portuguese is our only official language. People misunderstand this because portuguese and spanish are both derived from latin, what makes them kinda similar - but not so much...in fact,they´re very different ^^; I can´t blame anyone for not knowing this, though...i guess Brazil is the only country in Latin America that doesn´t have spanish as an official language, or even as a "side" language

    And I don´t speak japanese also, but i´d really like to....and i´d love to learn german and suomi, they´re beautiful languages. People say that people who are able to speak fluent portuguese are able to learn any language very easily, so it´s worth a try^^

    Ah, come visit us ^^ Just with english you´ll be alright most of the time

    They say we only lose for germans and scandinavians in this area...i guess if your language is difficult, easier it will be to learn the easier ones....portuguese is VERY difficult, believe me. Much, much more than spanish.

    (and i chose exaclty the difficult ones, german and suomi ¬¬)

    Your english is not really poor, i believe we (brazilians) just get in trouble because we lack conversation pratice. for example, i practice writing here in the forums and reading through the mangas (and also scientific arcticles), but i don't really listen or talk in english for a loooong time. i believe this is a major drawback, and when people visit some english-speaking country this practice is so current that it's almost natural. Your english is really nice and clear to me ^_^ !!!

    i believe that nowadays students in secondary school may choose english or spanish, but i'm not sure. when i went to school there was only english... but i believe i prefer english because it's more simple ^_^

    i would like to learn japanese and german as well; but i think the first will be tougher because of the ideograms - it's like learning a new alphabet, isn't that?

    and in brazil (i prefer to write brasil, hehehe) touristic places always have english speakers (and other languages too) to help out foreign people, so it's not something to worry!!!
