One Piece OP and ED songs

In france we said 'burnt cat fears cold water'. I don't know the equivalent in english but that's what this new opening make me thing of. It's quite very consensual.
A serious atmosphere, not to many spoilers and a standard music. Well I suppose it fit the arc.

It's interesting to notice that come the Shichibukai, Smoker and then the 3 Admirals. It was cool to put Smoker and his logia theme with the Admirals'. It would be really great to have in the future 4 Admirals - White, Blue, Yellow and Red. I just wonder what animal would fit Smoker.

Tiger... But I highly doubt that Smoker will become taishou within the next 10 years withing "OP time", which is like 100 for us.

One Piece Opening 13 is one of the best OP's ever imho! It's just soooo good. I love it. Usually, I would skip the intro of the anime but I can't bring myself to do it with this theme tune. Which is a first.

I mainly love it for the art, but the f-ed up a lot of the WB crew's colours though, which pissed me off. But it's a very catchy tune though...

Agreed. I also like it because it's got a very "everyday life" feel to it. Especially when they show the strawhats doing their thing. Sanji is cooking, Robin is reading, Brook is playing his violin.... SUGOI !!

I think it should just be mor cheerfull and end with a DON, instead of Fading Away with just some guitar sound!
This way it just seems like an ending!
It lacks the spirit, something like the "WE ARE" from the 1st opening, or the "Believe in Wonderland~" From the second!

I've downloaded the 'top 100 hits' application from the appstore just for fun and what a surprise in the Japan section : one day is number 9 in the single sells. That really surprised me. I don't what the appli used for its ranking but I suppose it is a bit relevent

I have not watched one piece anime in months and I just try last episode out of curiosity to see if the flashback is finished and what I get is one of the crappiest opening ever. Did they put all the money one day or what ?

I don't know why you see it as low budget, maybe the lack of fighting scenes? But there isn't much to cover except the flashbacks and the "epilogue" of the first arc of one piece + training scenes.
I liked this new opening, they even reanimated the scenes of the strawhats and make various parts of it very nostalgic.

Indeed. I like it very much.

Of course One Day was somewhat better... But Fight together has it's own charm.^^

First I don't like the music. It goes in every direction without making any unity, even the english phrase seems completely artificial. And in the end I'm completely unable to remember the start of a tune
The flashbacks with members part could be nice if there was not Luffy yelling all the time. When I compare it to something like Bon voyage, it was simple but much more natural.
In the end I only liked the parts with Ace
