This manga is adapted from the latest of the "Tales of" series of games from Bandai-Namco's Tales Studio. For those unfamiliar with the games, this manga is a fantasy-based story following the adventures of Ruca, who has dreams about wars. One day, he encounters a girl named Iria who turns out to be an Inousha (a person of unusual ability)... In the commotion that follows, the same powers in Ruca are awakened…!?
Kaidou Hiroyuki's most well-known work is probably Onmyou Taisenki, which ran in V JUMP, and was also adapted to an anime TV series in 2004~2005. The RPG game, Tales of Innocence will be released on 6 December for Nintendo DS.
Check out the first chapter HERE!

I think ToI is the manga that I looked forward to the most in Jump SQ . . . So happy that it comes out in Jump SQ, since other Tales series manga are so hard to find. Now, I can't wait for the game to come out ^o^"
Thank you for updating though, kirimi. XD
Well It looks promising, but still I'll wait for a scan - because I don't understand anyhting of it
Yes, this is a really promising series. This is the first series since Mx0 and Tegami Bachi that I'm looking forward to. I really liked the look of the first chapter. I'll check it out when the scanlation is done.
I wondered when will the second chapter come. I got a summary of the second chapter, which leads me to conclude that the manga is going in a different direction than the game. XD (since it's a bit too different) But it's still ToI, so I still want to read it. X3
after the first chapter, which ruka use his new power to wind all the soldiers fall back ,than his got exhausted .

what console is the game played on?
But the game, so far, is quite different though. But I'm just glad that the manga actually makes Spada looks a lot more heroic that what he should have been. XD (in game, he got captured in Regnum Capital and we meet him in the prison cell. At the very least, he took the roles of hero in the manga and help everyone out rather than being in there himself X3 )
Sorry for bumping this up. My curiosity just got to me. :'D
Anyone actually played the game? I'm just curious . . . X3
