I think the second opening is the best for various reasons. Of course it sounds good but i was in japan and i saw bleach and that was the opening on (i had seen bleach before but stopped in favor of the manga, so i hadnt heard this opening). Japan always holds fond memories for me so they are tied together.
My favorite opening would have to be Arigato or the first one
Anywho, I love all the OPs and EDs, but my most fave is the one I've mentioned. But from all the OPs and EDs, the best imo, would be Houki Boshi. Younha is amazing. And I love the piano to the song too. (I make my brother play it everyday).
Not only that, the videos rock. XD I love how it's different in every episode, and somehow you could get how normal life goes in each division. *squeals* Whether it's canon or not.
"Growing older is mandatory, growing up is optional."
I love "ichirin no hana", so the best OP
I think the best OP animation is the current 'tonight tonight tonight' although the song itself can bite my
EDs, i'd have to go with houkiboshi... i like the new one, but that first instrumental chord always gives me a heart attack

Re: Favourite Bleach Opening And Ending
My favorite opening is unquestionably Uverworld's D-technolife, nothind comes close!
I really loved "Life is Like a Boat" and I was very disapointed when they changed it. it fitt so well with the episodes at that time and it is a beautyful song. I also like "Houki Boshi" because it is a cathcy tune and because it shows all the squads. I also love the current ending and for all you who do not know, it is called "Moving" it has that island attitude going on and it works very well.
I just can't decide on a favorite ending. don't force me to chose amongst these three.
for opening i am sure with my favorite:
Ichirin no Hana by HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR
it's just a great band, i'm atm trying to import all their cds one after another xD
For the ending, i would say there is a tie between 3:
My Pace - SunSetSwish; it's just a great happy-go-lucky song melody wise, but text-wise it has a nice positive way to see life...
Life is like a boat - Rie Fu; great slow ballad... and the text is as if rukia would be the one who had written it... still makes me somewhat sad....
Movin!! - Takacha; damn, that one is great xD just gotta love the style and the animation for it xD
