PC Games Thread

There are plenty of console gamers around but I'm sure there's still some traditional PC gamers too. What recommendations do you have? Which genre of PC games do you like?

And finally, have anyone played Hellgate, done by same ppl who did Diablo?? If you have, is it any good? Anyone also played Age of Empire 3?

The type of PC games I usually play are simulation, strategy based and rpg. So yes, all those 'tycoons' game, AOE, starcraft, diablo etc.

pc games!!! i remember wolfenstein! i was a little kid back then, it was the scariest game i've played. then came doom, much more scarier. i also had share of mist-like games, you know where you click stuff and something happens, kinda detective games, really mind boggling those. i play all sorts of pc games

anyhoo az, you didnt mention sims. also those games you mentioned are deemed legendary. hellgate? never tried it, blizzard did it? and age of empires is one hell of a game. the third is amazing, fully 3d. btw i heard the next diablo is coming soon.

SIMS I used to be addicted to the first one >.> I had all the expansion packs and everything XD I also used to play Red Alert a whole lot :3

yeah milady me too, and i still think the first cant be compared the sequels. that game was made to be addictivvvvve. actually the piano music is kinda nostalgic...

oh yes, SIMS was pretty addictive too. But I only played SIMS 1 and I onli like messing around with interior designing and stuff, the whole controlling the SIMS life gets a little boring after a while so I never tried SIMS 2. However, I tried Kudos and I really love it! I've been trying to get it in the stores but it doesn't seem to be sold anywhere. but basically, you control ever aspect of your 'SIMS' life, and almost everything; u even get to go shopping and buy stuff for yourself etc.

KUDOS
Kudos is a turn based strategy game where you control someone's life. You decide where they work, who they hang out with, and what they do to relax. Do you want to be an alcoholic saxophone playing taxi driver? or maybe a reclusive but brilliant astrophysicist. Kudos is not about flashy graphics or high polygon counts.

Hellgate: London is a dark fantasy-themed action role-playing game developed by Flagship Studios and released on October 31, 2007.

I usually play Hearts of iron2 & the expansion packs for it
it is practically a strategy game centered around WWII and the beginning of the cold war.
it doesnt require a lot of memory and it is very addicting once you get the hang of it

I got done playing Stronghold Crusader for a couple months straight. Age of Mythology was after that, and now I just played Rise of Nations a bunch. Looking forward to Diablo 3.

I tried playing The SIMS awhile back and found it mind-numbingly boring. If there was actual dialog between characters it would have been a little bit better.
