Solo coloring no. 2 - Luffy

I had many many troublems with the shadowing and highlightnings (specially in the face). Any tips and comments would be greatly appreciated. And McFranky, please be my sensei! (I really wanna learn also how to do beautiful BGs as you do..

)

I didn't remember if for this arc he wears orange or yellow. I chose orange only for the variety, but I think it's yellow..

not sure though.. :S (Maybe it's franky with the yellow? Oh well.. :S)

I think Muigiwara_no_Jack(hey, wasn't Hekti available oO?) means that luffy waers vests, and they don't cover the arm^^ There should be skin and not cloth(refer my version for it)

Besides that you forgot the mouth(tounge)

But as a whole it's really ok. You just need practice and make your own experiences, thats all I would say

Hmm a Foxy...

I have a clean picture of him, but it's out of a drawing book (for children?!) I downloaded it at AP forums, I guess that's enought credit.

PS.: All pics i color are out of the manga or made be a fanartist. I clean them and if it is just a panal i cut it out....

I use NULL-scans if possible. That's why I don't color TB so much. There's so much work to do with cleaning....

Yea.. I'm working now on chapter's 3 cover.. 90% of the time I spent was only on cleaning, but finaly done with the basic coloring, and there's not too much to do with shadowing&highliting. I expect it to be done tomorrow.
