First coloring - The Hunter

I just got photoshop earlier and decided to try out some coloring. Here's my first attempt, Sanji. Chapter 413, page 19, last panel.

I hope I've covered the basics but do tell me what I need to work on. A tutorial might come in handy as well (one that includes basic shading).

That's really good for a first time!
Some stuffs to be said:
I think it depends on each colorers' style, but many prefer removing the original shadows from the paintings (the black lines) and making shadows by themselves. can't think of anything more to be said..

Thank you very much. I thought about that too, but I was mostly trying to get a grip on the basics so I was being lazy. I'll try cleaning the picture next time and see if I like it better. Thanks again.
