    Re: [Featured] Baccano!

Sad to see that this series is featured but no one is posting in here

Anyone else watched Baccano!? Fans of Durarara!! will enjoy it for sure, after all they are both based on novels by the same novelist and follow a similar storytelling style. I fell into the Durarara!! fandom faster than I did with Baccano!, but that's not to say Baccano! is a bad series. Both have their charm, and I highly enjoyed both, though to me Durarara!! had a slightly more likable cast of characters, which made the series just that much more endearing. Baccano!, however, did have some really badass characters and once the plot really gets going, it never stops and just gets better and better.

    Re: [Featured] Baccano!

Personnaly I find Baccano better than Durarara. My main reason is that Baccano is finished whereas Durarara is still incomplete and god knows when we will have another season.
And I don't know but the plot being more simple, it makes more sense. The good old method of unity of time, place, action works well. In Durarara, Izaya is a bit to complex a character and it is hard to understand his motive.
