    Scanning problem

i am having a little problem with my scans in general. I have been scanning the raws for fullswing and find that the raws have speckles all over the place even after leveling. here are some examples: Raw scanned page and Raw after leveling. The settings i use are 600 dpi and greyscale. Other than that i dont have any other settings. How do i fix this problem without going back and actually filling them in
here is my hp scanner settings screen, if that helps:http://img124.imageshack.us/img124/7...sscreen6ir.jpg

    Re: Scanning problem

Sometime scanning images with too high resolution is not good. 300 dpi is good, or at least that's what I used for my group.
