I wouldn't be surprised if it is Sakurai alongside Sakata and Tonkotsu.
I would like that to be the cover too, but knowing how Tae just got saved I feel like she would get all the attention again lol.
Well realistically, seeing as how volume 34 kind of focused on Reika's final battle, I'd assume Sakurai and maybe Sakata/Tonkutsu will be on volume 35, seeing as how they are the major focus for this volume.
Yupp it has to be Sakurai, Tonkotsu, Sakata and mech in the background. But somehow I can't imagine mech in the background due to the covers style, it wouldn't be right.
Don't worry about what I was saying, I was being over-dramatic and using sarcasm about Oku's overuse of Tae.
It should be those guys.
I think the next volume will have whoever dies on it too, maybe Nishi or somebody.
I agree, I think Sakurai's final struggle and death trumps Tae's rescue. The volume after might feature Tae if the current situation escalates.
Thought it was both Kei's at first, but now I seen it's Kei and Nishi. And of course Cherry is there for obvious events. Has it been confirmed whether or not Nishi died?
I often get them confused too.

look how happy we are in deep space!
This remind me Final Fantasy VIII ending. But in FFVIII there were the excuse to make some ending less sad than the one of FFVII. Here there's no any excuse.
Seems a bit predictable but I guess there's only so much you can put on a cover with the way it's always formatted. It feels a little out of place to have Gonde on the cover like an epic final battle was to take place when Gonde wasn't even introduced until the Katastrophe arc. Even then, there was very little buildup of Gonde until the last 20 chapters or so.
