Out of all the members of Straw Hat Pirates, in your humble opinion, which one of Captain Luffy’s Straw Hat Pirates would stand by or betray his ultimate goal for their personal agenda and please gives your reasons?

i would say all of them but each time i read the manga and watch the anime, i had this feelings that somehow luffy is more intimate to zoro than the rest of the crews. i dunno how to explain but that was what i felt. it is not suprising since afterall zoro is his first crew member.

Intimate is such a strong word but I do understand what you are trying to say and I agree with you all the way.

Luffy trusts all of them, but I also feel he has the strongest bond with Zoro.

All of Luffy's relationships with the various crewmembers are important, hence no one would do things such as become an obstacle without just cause. I'd say Luffy's relationships with Nami and Zoro though are the most important relationships out of all the crewmembers.

Perhaps a better question is with whom Luffy has the weakest relationship on the crew. I would guess Robin. Luffy trusts her, but they don't seem particularly close.

i'd say brooke and franky, I think he doesn't "seem" close to Robin cause that's how Robin is, you can tell by how she looks at Luffy and laughs with him how close they actually are , it's more subtle i'd say,

I think zoro since he is the second mate and oldest companion. Also zoro is very loyal to him as we saw when he gave his life to save him from kumar or when he saved smoker only because he ordered him to do so. We also saw that luffy listens what zoro has to say even when it hurts, when they were discusinf the usupp issue.

zoro is the obvious choice here.......he's luffy's first mate and right-hand man

however, i'm positive luffy wouldn't question the trust of any of his nakama

Zoro is the least likely to betray Luffy although Usopp comes a very close second.

Considering their characters however, I wouldn't put it past any of the SHs to betray Luffy. They have their own dreams and if Luffy stands between them and their dreams then... well... they'd go against Luffy. That won't probably happen though since Luffy respects his nakama's dreams.

I can't remember Zoro once doubted Luffy ... NEVER.

by the way: after EL I think Robin is one of the trustfullest mates after Zoro.

he DID sort of betray Luffy just for the merry go (no matter how important it was)

the obvious choice was zolo. He was willing to die and give up his dream to live till his battle with mihawk just for luffy during thriller bark
