The previous between arcs hiatus was something like 18 months? Since Kaitani took one during this arc, I doubt we get one that long again. My bet is a hiatus of at least 6 months.

As hyped as it was, we get 2 1/3 pages talking about Yokoya's revival game during this whole arc. Thank god Fukunaga lost. With him/her and Harimoto's group out of the game, we might get new characters. (Nope, we'll get another Yokoya/Akiyama showdown)

I'm surprised that Nao didn't volunteer to act as a substitute for one of the departing cultists. I suppose she'll show up at the next game like Akiyama did and volunteer to replace someone.

Still strange that Kimura did not say anything, the whole cult leader role was at the center of the confusion of this arc. I do think Kaitani took the break to devise that, otherwise I do not think that Kimura was the planned leader from the start. Kaitani had bigger plans for Harimoto. This all seems clustered for some reason.

Plus the ending message is obvious, of course the Liar Game is not over. We need more psychological torture of the characters rather than a hero win every now and then.

I guess the next arc will be Nao trying to save her or something. Will be interesting to see what happens with a new cast though.

Fukunaga should still be in the black, even if he/she lost all of the money from the Bid Poker game.

Wait so Nao and Akiyama now play to pay off her debt or something? Unless the host will not reveal ANOTHER revival game?

I don't feel like going through the series and trying to figure out how much money Fukunaga made throughout the games (he never sacrificed himself to save others like Nao/Akiyama, so he was making money by riding on their coattails), but there is literally no way he can be in the red unless he tried to bribe people using outside money like Yokoya and if he did that, it would be beyond stupid for him to lose so badly.

I did like the couple pages of just text. Maybe we'll get more Liar Game is there is just less art? Haha.

Anyways, I hope the Hiatus isn't too long. Hopefully we'll get new "real" chapters around fall. But I'm thinking we may get a quick 7 chapter mini-story during the summer. Maybe go and see some other characters' side stories. Something that were the entire game doesn't need to be explained, just the basics and someone's victory/loss.

(Also, it would be nice if some group picked up "Welcome to the Winner's Circle." If Liar Game was weak this round.. maybe Winner's Circle was stronger? I buy Jump X each month... so I can only tell so much...)
