Kingdom scanlation was stalled for a long time before Turnip farmers picked it up. I am grateful that they really grind out those chapters faster than what I've expected, so I'd rather not to complain about anything, they're doing a great job.
I'm on chapter 173, when they are returning home after general Ouki's death. OMG. I can't stop reading and I've work to do!
Coming Soon, Please Participate!
I've been waiting for TWO weeks for chapter 380 RAW!
Any idea when it will be released??? And what is causing the delay?
I NEED MY KINGDOM DOSEEEEE
Here it is.
can some 1 tell me the release day of kingdom ??
So it makes sense other commanders get attached to him from time to time. We just dont get to see the rosters every time this stuff happens on screen thats all.
As for a unit under a commander having 1000 men or etc. When Kyoukai became a 1000 man commander it is indeed her 1000. Shes not a lieutenant under Shin anymore in the same sense. But a seperate commander.
Its common for ancient times that commanders get a commission for xx number of troops. "quality always being a issue" But in this story as with most we dont see extreme differences between troop quality. Basically a richer commander could afford better equipment and horses for his troops and thus have more prestige. Basically armies in this period well into the renascence were a tool to profile yourself as a lord/nobility.
What Shin fields is fierce loyal militia. Something almost impossible in his time-period. And as shown by other commanders seen as a joke rather then a army at first. And with every commander lost in battle he gained those units to bulk his force. But they are in no ways obliged to follow him. Unlike the earlier campaign where there was a levy this is semi-professional troops. They are signed for a period of time and generally serve in the same unit. When the time is up they can go home or sign up elsewhere. They dont have to be on Shins roster. But im getting too technical now
Safe to say Kyoukai has her own 1000. After gaining a commission by the king "off-screen". And is deployed under Shins command at this theater of the war.
Is Kingdom any good?
I'm thinking to read it but not sure.
Can anyone tell me the good and appealing things about it
If you expect girls to be off limits for violence. Romance all over the place. Extended pretty boy pallets. Then its not for you.
Sure there is nuance, there is some romance. There are some plot twists but dont expect too much on complexity. Beyond the court its a 1 way train to success for the hero and his group. Be there losses yes but nothing that will stop them. At least that part is shonen.
