[Cleaning] Need Help With Speed/Thought Action Lines

I've been trying to redraw these thought lines with my brush/pen, but I'm having trouble trying to make my strokes thinner midway as natural as possible. And I've also tried cloning another section to little success.

Is there any way to redraw this in Photoshop CS3?

    Thanks.

you can use the line tool to redraw the thought bubble.

For the SFX you'll just need to clone stamp it, sorry. Try cloning a wider area if you're not having much success.

(you're the one scanlating it, but personally I don't think you should redraw sound effects anyway. SFX are part of the actual artwork and affect how the page looks and feels, which isn't something you can replicate when you redraw it.)

Thank you for the reply. But um... I was never asking how to redraw the sound effects. I just wanted to learn if it was possible to draw the thought/action bubbles (that I circled) because the lines thin out. I was wondering if you can use the brush or line tool to create 'thinning' straight lines?

Oh, sorry for misunderstanding. I thought you wanted help redrawing out the text that was there.
So... you want to know how to use the arrowhead settings? the first picture I posted should show the settings for that.

if thats still not right then... sorry. I'll go away now.

I took a look at the image, but that only showed me how to make arrowheads, and not how to make 'thinning' straight action lines like the ones shown in my original post. But thank you for trying, I really appreciated it! ^_^

I lied when I said I'd go away now.
Did you try the settings on the arrowheads box? because that should make "thinning straight lines".

That's okay, I really don't mind lol. In fact, I'm very grateful for you trying to help~

Yes, I did try playing around with that function, but I couldn't get the exact function of what I was looking for.

Ideal (Copy-pasted the line from the manga):

Current (What I ended up doing):

...maybe its some weird problem with your copy of photoshop then? Arrowheads has been pretty much the same since way before CS3, and those settings SHOULD give you exactly whats in that picture.

Re: [Cleaning] Need Help With Speed/Thought Action Lines

Ohhh! I see now! I've been trying to use 'Stroke' with 'Brush' instead of 'Fill' the whole time which is why they kept turning out like that! *is stupid*
It worked! Thank you so much! (though for some reason, they turned out to be small/thinner than your picture) xDDD Now I don't have to slowly individually copy-paste each line LOL! Btw, how did you change the size? :P
