In the latest chapter we see that madara and hashirama were as good of friends as they could be. So much thatlosing hashirama awakened the sharingan. Now I was left with two questions though.
Sasuke awakened his without losing anyone at the moment he got the eyes, it seemed to be survival instinct awakening them. Do you think they abandoned that path now with the neurological angle they are going for?
Second, madara said in the last chapter that he could see better because he had the sharingan but we in this issue learn that he just hade them awakened. Does sharingan users have better sight regardless of it being activated yet?
No. We've seen in the fb of sasuke that he first awakened his sharingan when itachi killed the uchiha clan. Then he fully activated his sharingan when he thought haku killed naruto.
I think madara did awakened his sharingan before he met hashirama. And he just hide that to his clansmen and to his family. When he said to hashirama that he's no match to their so called visual contest, he almost admitted that he's an uchiha, and at Tue same time, that he already got the sharingan.
Maybe madara awakened his sharingan when one of his brother was killed. And I think it's kinda lame for madara to awakened his sharingan when he thought that he can't see hashirama again. That's a freaking cheesy. Yikes.
Madara probably hid his Sharingan from his family, especially Hashirama. I doubt Sharingan users have better eyesight or any benefit from Sharingan when it's not activated.
