I'm definitely liking the adaptation for this arc much better than Trost. This episode especially left me at the edge of my seat (although I'm current for the manga) and the animation for the female titan is superb; she's quite frightening and brutal also. I dunno, I felt like Trost was slower paced compared to the manga, although they covered the same points. This expedition is the opposite, and I have no complaints so far. Looking forward to the next episode.
Anybody watch livestreams out here? XD.
Just watched the episode, and it's the first time I've heard them using the soundtrack "Bauklötze." Man, I love that soundtrack. Been listening to it for a quite a while now, even before this episode aired. I was wondering when they'd use that track.

Great episode, it was too awesome. I loved it, it was filled with so much passion, they did an amazing job adapting the story to an anime, incredible job.
P.S. Im actually glad that the anime will have a break soon, It will give the manga more time to distance itself from the anime, but man they did a great job with it's anime.
The arc has been taking much longer than I expected it would, so I probably shouldn't be saying that will happen next ep I guess. XDQuote:
I actually don't have any problem with the pacing for today's episode. Already expected it last week that the flashback is going to take one whole episode, ending with the capture of the Female Titan.Quote:
Also, I think this arc is actually going to take in all the remaining episodes. I'm not really expecting that this season's run we'll get to the next arc. Maybe a preview for the next arc? But that's about it.
I know what end cards are, I've even got some saved on my comp from a series that aired a couple of years ago. I was under the impression most of them were drawn by the animators though, and not by fans (until I saw the one from last week which was clearly fan drawn and said so on it). This is the first series where I could tell for sure fanart was drawn by fans. I was speaking *generally* about the marriage thing was all. Expanding it outside of the three people you mentioned.Quote:
Well that's cute.Quote:
Mwahahaha... you can have the other two, just give me him (and I'll pick some others maybe)...Quote:

Speaking of endcards, have you guys seen this one from Ep12?
Ahahaha! I hope she has a good sense of humour about her artistry, because seriously...
Hey guys, those end cards are simply AWESOME! I find this one on YT:
Where can I find a good summary of these? Are they 19 like the episodes?
There should be one for each episode. I'm not collecting them but it's probably not hard to google around and find some.
pfft, first Google result: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...8828494&type=3
(only 15 there, but you get the idea. btw one of them is a close-up of somebody's butt...?)
Edit: Just to clarify, they have more than 19 because some of the images are background for when they read out the sponsors. And then there's the massive set of images from the Preview after Episode 13.

Can't find Episode 20, but I find this from DVD #1.
And: none can find if in the first DVD/BR release there is still censorship (Carla's death etc.)?
