Oh God from what I read the reactions are so bad about this Xbox Event lol
MS didn't prepare it at all, his representatives are contradicting themselves.

Someone summarized the whole event here:
My favorite of those videos is this one. I normally don't like this guy too much but the crescendo he builds is excellent.
Apparently Xbox One will use it's own headset but hopefully they'll make adapters for our current ones hmp maybe at E3.
More Arkham Origins pics/info.

Sony getting all sassy.
I like how Microsoft said that you only need to connect once every 24h and at the same time telling you that it will promote the cloud gaming (by launching 300,000 servers)....which requires permanent connection if you want to play aha.
Oh and the 300,000 servers promo is accused to be a lie on top of that : https://twitter.com/Jonathan_Blow

Microsoft confirmed that its new-gen console will be region-locked.
God, when is news going to come out that makes the Xbox One seem anything but awful?
You'd think Microsoft would leek an exclusive game trailer or something just to shift conversation away from all the things people don't like about the console itself. At this rate it's Xbox One news is going to read "This console sucks" right up until E3. Where Sony's PS4 reveal of what there console looks like is probably going to steal the front page on most news sites.
I can't help but think Microsoft has made the same huge miscalculation that Nindendo did with the Wii U about non-hardcore gamers.
Hardcore gamers buy the "best" gaming consoles for themselves they can. They want to play all the newest games. The more casual ones, in my experience, are more likely to just stick with what they have, and lack of backwards compatibility is only going to increase that impulse. It often comes down to the question why get a Xbox One when a Xbox 360 is doing the job just fine?
Microsoft seems to be abandoning (and straight up offending) the hardcore crowd and gambling on the finicky casual less video game focused crowd.

Well it's a huge mistake regarding communication at least. Wait&See for E3, they said they'll announce everything about games there. 15 exclusive games sounds super sweet, however...exclusive to Microsoft or the Xbox One ?
However I don't think they'll offer less games for hardcore gamers, the thing for "casual gamer" is it's all in one box, you can switch TV/GAME/Communication (skype) just like that (voice command and/or moving hands). Which can be considered as focused on Hardcore gamer in a sense that they don't need to...leave the console for other stuff. Well it's basically a PC.
Like say there is a new single player Fable game in the works. "Accidentally" let something like that slip and suddenly people have something to talk about besides the endless stream of fiasco's stemming from the Xbox One reveal conference. It just seems to me like Microsoft's PR department was inexplicably caught flat footed on this one.
And take that remark about the Xbox One being like a PC back, damn you!
